I've been struggling with stuttering issues in Automobilista 1.6 while playing in VR with my Quest 3 for weeks. It was driving me crazy—I had tried everything to fix it, but nothing worked. I was even about to uninstall the game, format my hard drive where I keep my games, and reinstall everything. Luckily, that wasn't necessary.

The problem was Windows' power plan. If you have Windows' power plan set to "High Performance" and are experiencing stuttering while playing in VR, you should switch it to "Balanced."

Eddit: I bring bad news. The solution of setting the power plan to balanced and eliminating the stuttering has only worked for me with Virtual Desktop while playing on Wi-Fi 6, but it hasn’t worked with the Oculus software and Meta Link... I really think it must be a problem with Meta Link... I’m going crazy.

Is your CPU AMD? This issue is more common with them but, with so many different versions of processors, it's not very clear until having such issues. I'm also using "Balanced" power-plan as well with good results.

Yes, my CPU is AMD, specifically a 5800X3D. I had to edit the post above because I'm still having the issue.

How about HAGS? My system runs smoother with HAGS enabled (Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling). Right-Click Desktop > System > Display > Graphics > Advanced Graphics Settings > Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling (Enable).

If it's already enabled, try with it disabled.
