Just a little something that I think needs looking at sometime in the distant future when the more important things are sorted. The sun position for a given time of day isn't right, at least for UK tracks. Perhaps true of other tracks too, but I haven't tried that many yet. For example, racing in Summer at noon feels more like 7 o'clock in the morning... the sun is fairly low, the shadows are massive, and the ambient light is quite "orange". It should be almost directly overhead with very short shadows and bright white light, assuming there's no clouds. That's of course just one example. Hopefully it'll be fixed at some point, because I'd quite like some proper midday/early afternoon racing.
Just a little update. It seems that the sun positions actually do work properly for a given time. The issue is that the time I set in the options prior to starting a session do not always "take" properly, so the track loads with defaults or the values I last used instead.
