Hey guys, just a quick question. The other day I saw, that the steering ratio for the SuperV8 is quite high. 360 degrees of rotation with a steering lock of 18. Is this usual for this type of car? I'm searching for a proper info on that for V8SC for quite a while and never found a reasonable answer. Cheers!
While there is nothing irl to compare fantasy series Super V8 to, there is as you say that remarkably similar V8SC, here is a link to their technical manual, which does not specify/enforce exact steering ration. So i'd say that's up to a driver On page 32. https://d3spxwpngnho1k.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2018-Div-C-FIA-Approved-200218.pdf
Although that was quite the run-up to your answer, it wasn't really what I was looking for. Haha. Isn't it strange that such basic stuff isn't available in some way? As I said, I was asking because of the high steering ration in the SuperV8 car. I think it works and is even necessary for such a car with high caster and camber settings on the front-wheels. But it would be so good to have some real-life confirmation!
