I say this in the nicest way, don’t listen to Renato. If you do, then expect disappointment, but don’t come here and get annoyed about it. It has happened with other before and I think we all want to avoid people getting angry over a non existent deadline

Looks like you only read what you want to read, please read the whole thing to avoid misinformation/disappointment

Would have thought he learned by now... This is the reason we dont get dev blogs anymore

Well, it was what Renato said himself. The next part was a warning from Overtake:

While Reiza is working on additional features and fixes, Simioni also revealed that the studio is expanding to develop AMS2 further and add more content at an increased frequency. "On the content side, pretty much every month you are going to have an influx of cars and tracks", Reiza's Lead Dev revealed. Keep in mind that Reiza has been careful with giving deadlines in the recent past, so the "pretty much" part is most likely key - so expecting new content every single month without fail might not be the best approach.

Overtake had to give a disclaimer to Renato's comment to save him from himself.

Pretty much doesn't mean each month, that's what Renato said, but @deekracer has read it as new content each month, which isn't what was mentioned

Slightly disappointed the Career Mode is no closer, but I'd rather they get it right and as bug free as possible (unlike a certain flight simulator and their bug ridden mess of a career mode!), as for content I can only dream of a decent upgrade to newer & classic models of the V8Supercars Series (obviously!) alongside some fun more modern slower classes like Clios and maybe an official Megane Trophy.

Only this forum could find a way to get argumentative and upset over a good indication from lead devs that there’s a lot of content in the pipeline to come , pipes don’t always flow at a steady rate depending on how much C…..solids might be in it .
How hard is it to just be happy in the knowledge there’s going to be more regular flow than last year ..?

I'm well aware of what "month" means in Reiza time. I'm fine with every two-three months, to be honest. There is soooo much content I haven't touched since 1.6 update. I'm to the point where I am writing up a schedule of car/track combos so I can better cover some of the stuff I haven't tried yet. Problem is you get stuck on something you haven't tried before and then you want to drive every combo you can think of. I love the vintage Montreal layouts and have a blast with all kinds of cars on them. Never really tried either '88 or '91 til the update.

The other thing I liked in the piece is when Renato says that new content is coming b/c they nailed down licensing. Just means more things to come. I'm waiting for Spring sale to get some a few more DLCs, so I'm already good on content. I race just about every day now, but I've raced maybe 15% of the sim. Just tried to the oval update last night and I think I'm addicted.

Remember, I wasn't on the hype train during the "long pause", like many others were. I think Renato and the rest have found the right balance. The work they do speaks the loudest to me.

Thanks Renato for being so passionate about your creation! It's because of it that we have an amazing game and also the reason why it is so difficult to manage expectations. You can see he can't wait as well!

I think Reiza has strong team for developing new cars and tracks, so I find it relatively realistic that there could be new content frequently IF they don't start to do some more major revision with physics or such for every single car in the game like last time.

Glad we got some information about what's coming in 2025 for AMS2. I don't care if it's late or not, I just want to have a general idea of where the game is headed. I'm also glad he talked about the career mode, it was weird seeing this addition in the game menu without any details about it.

I miss Renato's updates. I wish we could have them back, maybe without mentioning release dates to avoid fan meltdowns ? We all know Reiza is a small studio, and unexpected **** can happen in software development.
