Test driving and exiting pits to track

Is it possible to always start a test drive from the nearest pit exit to the track? If I can't influence it myself, could a change be made to the game?

Sometimes when testing and adjusting the car, it takes quite a lot of time driving the pit straight
over and over again. Often the car starts from the farthest pit booth.

On only a few AMS2 tracks, the pit booth is right at the end of the pit straight, you can get to the track right away. Most of the time it is not.
