After my work on converting all the quasi-fictional drivers in AMS2 into real drivers (i.e., NAMeS), I had the really dumb idea of compiling a register of all the relevant race events for every category in AMS2. Basically, for each series in AMS2, I am creating a spreadsheet that records the Year, Track (plus any obvious, suitable [Replacement Track]), Date, Start Time, & either Duration or Laps (depending on the event). Once finished, AMS2 users could use it as a handy resource to set individual race parameters that match the historical record, or to perhaps design custom championships--especially if the now-wonky custom season files get converted over to the preferred .xml format. Here's a sample: Montana: Copa Chevrolet Montana (Note: a few of these events may have been either 30 or 35 minutes in duration, so the final time per event could change). 2010 Curitiba 11-Apr-10 13:00 40 2010 Velopark 2-May-10 13:00 40 2010 Jacarepagua 23-May-10 13:00 40 2010 Ribeirao Preto Street Circuit [Salvador Street] 6-Jun-10 13:00 40 2010 Interlagos 5-Sep-10 13:00 40 2010 Campo Grande 19-Sep-10 13:00 40 2010 Santa Cruz do Sul 24-Oct-10 13:00 40 2010 Brasilia 21-Nov-10 13:00 40 2010 Curitiba 5-Dec-10 13:00 40 GTOpen: Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship (Note: 2012-2014 Britcar was around the only period that both a Ginetta G55 GT3 and Ultima GTR--at least the pre-Taranis version we have in AMS2--raced head-to-head; Duration in minutes) 2012 Silverstone GP 24-Mar-12 15:00 180 2012 Donington GP 21-Apr-12 17:00 180 2012 Snetterton 300 12-May-12 15:00 180 2012 Brands Hatch Indy 2-Jun-12 15:00 120 2012 Oulton Park International 23-Jun-12 15:00 180 2012 Brands Hatch Indy 15-Jul-12 16:00 120 2012 Snetterton 300 19-Aug-12 13:00 180 2012 Donington GP 3-Nov-12 16:00 240 F-Reiza: FIA Formula One World Championship (Distance in Laps) 2012 Melbourne [Adelaide] 18-Mar-12 17:00 58 2012 Barcelona [Jerez] 13-May-12 14:00 66 2012 Monaco [Azure] 27-May-12 14:00 78 2012 Montreal 10-Jun-12 14:00 70 2012 Valencia (European) [Nurburgring] 24-Jun-12 14:00 57 2012 Silverstone 8-Jul-12 13:00 52 2012 Hockenheim 22-Jul-12 14:00 69 2012 Spa 2-Sep-12 14:00 44 2012 Monza 9-Sep-12 14:00 53 2012 Suzuka [Kansai] 7-Oct-12 15:00 53 2012 COTA [Indianapolis] Road 18-Nov-12 13:00 56 2012 Interlagos 25-Nov-12 14:00 71 Initially, I would focus on schedules that complement the default content best (e.g., a 1967 F1 schedule for F-Vintage Gen1 rather than say, 1966 or 1968). Please, let me know if this is such a dumb idea that I really should save myself the effort and not bother.
It is not a dumb idea, but there are not many like us that have that OCD towards being as authentic as posible, you are a legend sir if you managed that endeavor.
