Hi, I've tried the search but couldn't find an answer. googled quite a bit too. I have just bought a Thrustmaster T818 and can't see it as a choice in AMS2 controller settings. Am I missing something? ACC detects it no problem, but not AMS2. Is it natively supported? Thanks
OK I shall reply to myself. I created a custom wheel and bound all the buttons.that I could but I cannot bind a button to 'select' or 'back/cancel' as there isn't an option for it. This means as I play in VR that I can look at the option I want but cannot select it. Yes I could use autoselect but it is very slow and I'm used to using a button with my previous wheel which was a Thrustmaster T300RS. Does anyone know how to get around this. The wheel just works out of the box with ACC but AMS2 is making my life difficult.
Thanks for the replies, unfortunately putting it on Legacy or DD generic does not allow me to have a button select any options. All the buttons I can map work ok, like 'look back' for example. But I cannot make a button 'select' or 'back/cancel' I have no idea how difficult this is but I would have thought Reiza would be able to update the supported wheels for the big manufacturers. Moza are selling a lot of wheels and Thrustmaster is one of the biggest wheel manufacturers.
Something ive been asking for for ages, the ability to map wheel buttons to menu items. Falls on deaf ears unfortunately. But if you keep shouting, you never know... You could try something called Vjoy, it sort of helps, but its a pain in the a%% to get setup. I got it working with my Moza GS rim, but not the CS. The only answer is to struggle for the mouse in VR....
