Time trail times not uploading

i've tried adelaide and cascavel the Uno classic, and my times are not being recorded once i retire the session. currently reinstalling the game.

 

entered the pits in pure frustration and hurt the engine in cascavel

 

reinstalled game, still not recording time trail times,
how am i supposed to leave?
retire, is that fine? am i supposed to pit?

At normal the time is uploaded to the Leaderboard as soon you pass the Start/Finish line. There is, however, a bug where some of the car/track combinations don't seem to work right now.

This sounds pretty strange for me.
Even when we had the crucial save setups bug I was able to get ALL my LB laptimes uploaded.
It was only when the game crashed before I could exit the LB normally that the laptimes didnt upload.
So this issue is probably harder to solve than a simple fix - because a lot of people dont have it.
But I can easily see how it would piss me off if I had this problem.

ByTheWay: Im sorry I have no idea what is the problem for you guys - the only things comes to my mind is some kind of firewall or anti virus stuff.

Even running the whole session on 3 wheels does upload.
Look Ma new LB record on 3 wheels

 

Tried firewall, have no anti virus - might make another account ... ( is that an option ?)
changed steam account name, also didn't make a difference

 

Im sorry but I still have no solution for you.
But after checking this thread I think that the problem is more complicated than just depending of what track/car combination you use.
Because eventhough my own LB laptimes almost(!) allways are uploaded then there is some unregularity behind if my ghosts/replays is uploaded.
About 10% of my ghosts/replays is not uploaded.
And my suspicion is that the cause is the same or is related to the bug causing the missing LB laptime saving.

Yes, a couple, never got the agree rating,
It start happening after the big Record reset, I am not sure, but it looks like i can't re-set a part of the Track-Car combination records i had set before the reset. database-pollution?

EDIT: got a reply today, giving an agree rating to reproducible bugs is no longer part of the workflow, just post your bugs

 

@ruan, you can't register any lap time? This has been a tough issue, because we can't reproduce it. But if you have it regularly, we can use your car to investigate it.

 

LB list looking a bit weird.
Now I cant even see any other drivers.
Feels a bit lonely.

EDIT: To be a bit reasonable it looks like it wasnt Reizas fault - this time
Because others have reported that Steam was down - so afterwards I wasnt so lonely

 

I thought I would add to this thread, especially reading SaxOhare's comment about the record reset that occurred.

I only have one (known) broken time trial - The Classic F1 Gen 3 Model 3 at Spielberg/RedBull.

I can set times in this car at other tracks and other cars at this track. I have set many others times across many other leaderboards and cars.

For the combo above:
I drove it a lot before the leaderboard wipe with a custom skin pack and would have used setups copied from others players on the boards.
As soon as the leaderboard wipe occurred I could no longer set times. In all other respects it functioned normally.

The skins themselves were copied over by one of the patches and I have done the steam verify files thing.

When I do a time it creates the .dat file ok in the docs folder. I have deleted all the setups. Deleted all the dat files for this lap. I can't think of anything else to do.

The only thought that occurs is that when I had a time on the leaderboard it was a fast lap, which I have never matched since the reset. The only thing I can think of left to try is to beat that time (could take me quite a while)

THAT WAS IT! I just beat my time (it's a very intense combo - highly recommended) and I have magically appeared on the leaderboards.

So just to be clear - ever since the leaderboard wipe a few releases prior to v1.0 I could not post a time. I have just beaten my old wiped time and my new time has appeared.

This might not match everyone's issue, but I'll bet there are others in the same boat.

I can't set the record for F309 on Cascavel, but
today i could set a record with the F301 on cascavel.
This record was visible in the Time-Trial results till i tried to set a record with the F309 on Cascavel,
The record for F309 wasn't set (made visible?) and the F301 record disappeared??
The database must have some hidden records.
