I'm trying to figure out why I'm around 1.5 - 2.0 seconds slower than the top 5 or 10 laptimes on some rental kart TT tracks. I'm really curious because there are people in those times who I'm normally quite equal to (let's say +/- 0.3 s) on other tracks. I don't understand where 1.5 - 2.0 entire seconds is coming from. I'm wondering if maybe some of these times were set prior to possible updates which either slowed down the karts (physics changes) or the track (different physical properties, different grip preset, etc.). Or maybe it's just a lack of talent on my part which I'm OK with. It just blows my mind how I'm as fast or faster than some drivers on one track and then, with the same car but on a different track, I'm 1.5 - 2.0 s slower. The current circuit I'm wondering about is Interlagos Kart 1.
