TIP: The position of the HUD Layout items ...

FWIW, I used different cars with high mirrors, low mirrors, rear camera, etc... and found out this position is near optimal for all cars... a little bit higher than exactly half the screen seems to prevent the HUD. Mileage may vary with different resolution and aspect ratios but should be good for most.
