Is there any way to see tire temps at different parts of each tire (inside, middle, outside)? I can't seem to figure it out. There is the tire temp app on the DynHUD, but no more detailed information as far as I can tell. Does AMS even model different temperatures across the tire?
It does model tire temp across three sections of each tire. Check attached screenshot for where to find that info (just above tire pressure).
Can you see the same information while driving, or only in the garage? It would help to see on track for setups.
It is possible to setup a plugin that will read AMS telemetry and write a Motec i2 pro compliant log file that you can read with the Motec software. Unfortunately to install the package and get the plugin configured takes a bit of work. If your up for it I can share the needed files and some help to get it working.
Maybe Z1Analyzer can do the job....I have Z1 Dashboard...but actually never used the Analyzer so far. Give it a try. Z1 Analyzer
@Marcel Kleene does the Z1 Dashboard work with AMS? does it come with a plugin which needs to be installed? Z1 Analyzer looks great too, but how does it all work? (plugin installation?)
Yes, Z1 Dashboard works with AMS. Not 100% yet, but the sim is not final yet. As soon as it will be final, Z1 will be made 100% compatible. Yes, you need to install a plugin. For now, you just use the GSC Plugin and it works. To see how it works, have a read here: Z1 Dashboard Manual
Other - Automobilista DAQ Plugin Setup You probably saw this already on RD, it works great for motec on AMS.
They are completely separate AFAIK. I have both installed for the spotter and for motec and they don't appear to conflict with each other or use too many resources.
Hello! I recently got the DashPi app, it worked great on other simulators, but I could not make it work on the Automobilist, does anyone else use this app and managed to make it work?
I managed to make it work, I put the wrong file in the plugin folder, swapping the file everything worked perfectly! Thanks!
