I normally race with TC and ABS completely disabled, but I was trying out some GT3 races with thunderstorm weather (looks great) and wanted to try the "Authentic" settings for the assists so I can use TC and ABS. I'm familiar with the TC and ABS settings and how they work in the in-car menus, ie TC set to 0.10 is less wheelspin than TC set to 0.20, and ABS is the opposite: lower number is less intrusive ABS, higher is more ABS. I assigned a couple of buttons on my G29 to toggle through the TC/ABS settings and found that each time I click a button it cycles through 3 options: TC off, TC low, TC high, and the same for ABS. My question is what is the difference, setting-wise, between TC low and TC high. I tried each and they obviously are affecting the TC, but when I looked in the in car menu at the traction control setting, it stayed at 0.10 for both high and low. It seems you have to configure what you want the TC to be in the car setup, ie 0.10, and this is the "TC High" setting. "TC Low" changes this to some other value, but doesn't show what it is and "TC Off" turns it off completely. Anyone know mathematically what the "TC Low" and "ABS Low" does to the setting number? Also in a real GT3 car, don't they have settings like 1-10 or something for TC and ABS?
