Hello everyone. New here. I've been a console gamer for many years and finally got a gaming PC. I run a full Fanatec set up and everything seems to be working fine. This is something I've been experiencing in Automobilista 2 but at a point now of not knowing what to do. I've noticed in Championship, the tunes don't seem to have any affect on the car unless one of two things is done. 1) Load tune 3-4 times back to back. Then make a tweak to loaded tune. OR 2) Go out on track and do a lap, pit in, then after leaving pits the loaded tune takes effect. So I started a Championship using the McLaren 570S. First track was Bathurst and had to load the tune several times before it worked. Next race is Adelaide. I start qualifying and the car is driving worse than stock tune (even though a tune from the previous race was loaded). I restart and load the tune again. Not much better. I ended up putting the nose into a wall. I limp back to the pits, exit pits, now the car is on rails and driving beautifully. I qualify in 1st place. Now when I start the race the car drives just as terrible as before. So for testing purposes I go to the pits, let the pit crew do their thing, exit, and again, the car is running beautifully. Problem is there's no catching up to first at this point and I shouldn't have to do this in the first place. I also tried to see if I'll have the same problem in Time Trials or Free Racing but the car runs according to the tune as soon as I start the game. I tried searching here and the internet and not finding much. Does anyone know what's going on? Don't know if this matters but I'm using VR (Quest 2) and my tunes are copied from ghost cars with a little bit of my tweaking.
