Tweaking/editing the new HUD

Hi guys,

I have a question for the HUD experts :

• Is it possible to edit/tweak the vanilla new HUD so as to display ONLY the basic right MFD (just the info pages, no gauges) + the current lap time interval bar? (the green/red bar which tells you whether you're slower or faster than your best lap)

I don't like HUDs but I found that bar really useful and handy when I was running Reiza's TT championship. I had created a custom Dynhud with just those 2 elements and it was a perfect match for my taste. Minimalist and useful (no need to bomb that last corner exit if you're already 2 tenths slower than your best lap).

Can I do that with the current new HUD? Do you have to create one with the custom files? Can the HUD I describe even be created with Reiza's new HUD?

The name is Delta Bar. And I think you can't do what you asked. Maybe if you enable DynHUD on Config Tool then in Display menu.

 

The configurable settings for the Native HUD are explained from page 25 onwards in the User Guide

Yep Delta Bar I had forgotten the name. Managed to get nearly what I want. It would be cool if fuel consumption would be also on the MFD page where oil/water temp and tire usage are. Wouldn't need the tachometer this way.

You're right mate. I would need to enable DynHud again to get exactly what I want. I'm not going to do that.

Anyway, I can get only the delta bar and the MFD. That was my main concern.

So, is no longer possible use dynhud any more after 1.5.0?

 

You can enable it in the AMS config tool. But it's no longer supported by Reiza, they focus now on the NewHUD.

 

This is already enable but still yet don´t show me nothing in the game.
