Alright, since I couldnt find a specific thread on the subject, here we go. First: 1.6 really brought massive improvments overall. Won't list them here, but It was a job well done. Kudos. However, It can use some improvements, some in the most basic things. 1) In car, how can I tell which tires/compounds am I using? I might sound dumb, and it might be hidden somewhere, but I feel It could be in the small summary screen or on the ICM menus; 2) Pit strategy sumary could be integrated in the first screen (the new one is pretty Nice!) to a complete quick view of the setings; 3) As this popup is full of information, this line of "actions" (in lime on the screen) could be blinking to stand out. 4) Forecast? - EDIT - Its kind of the weather windows in the SESSIONS submenu. Question: a single weather windows Will always be that without changing given the time? EDIT2: Now in the picture I see Weather Progression off. Gonna check that out.
Lets continue.... 5) Make proximity indicator part of the configurable HUD elements (the Arrow one, not the top down). 6) I cant tell which session is running now by looking at these screens. Can you? PS: It is Race 2 named as Race 1! And givin a better look, The P Q R1 R2 "tag" or "label is P Q Q Q. EDIT: That was from a loaded championship. Now Im starting a new one, and the session appears really big on the side. 7) Give a Throttle Brake Cluth/Steer for this little fella
+1 on item 7 above, I miss it. On the menu, before any race, I'd like to be assured of how the game is recognizing my wheel. The thing is my setup is finicky, so sometimes I have to restart. Because the options menu don't feedback on wheel position and etc. (besides the calibration) I must start a test or race to be sure all is working. An example of what I'd like are those 'progress bar' some other titles have, informing pedal and wheel state right in the bindings UI.
I'll would also add this to the map icon You can see where it's raining and how hard, what the % chance that it'll continue raining, track moisture so you can decide whether to pit or not (you'd have to pause to see the track condition as it stands currently), wind speed which could prove useful And general art pass to the entire UI would go a long way, too. The font is improved for 1.6, finally! But it's not very snazzy looking. Presentation matters. See ACC, LMU, and AC on console as a comparison.
