Unbanning players on DS

hi everybody,

does someone know how to unban players on a dedicated server? Banned players were not be added to the blacklist...

 

The only way to unban a player is to remove their steamid from the blacklist file

 

thanks for your reply, shriukan. but there are no entries in the blacklist file even after banning someone.

 

Ah then we are in a different situation. Permanent bans can only happen by adding steamIDs to the blacklist file.

If you use the "ban" button on the webAPI's status page, that is a temporary 1hour ban and nothing more. I guess in that case an unban can happen if you simply restart the server.
