Hi, I heard there was a big difference in the Camaro SS ,so I tried it......its still almost undrivable for me even with a reset to default in the edit setup screen. So i thought I would do a complete reinstall of the sim in case there were errors or something. How would I go about this safely? This is my first steam game, so I don't want to lose anything. So is this correct......? Just delete/rename my ams 2 folder in documents and delete wherever the games data folder I have on a seperate ssd. Then go to steam and redownload the base game and the 3 dlc tracks I bought. Can I then copy back over my car setup files? Is there anything in my registry I should care about? Sorry for the noob questions....I'm used to working with physical discs. Thx
Easiest. Go to steam page showing your games. Right click on game, drop down menu will have option to uninstall . After uninstall game will still show on r/h side of steam games page, you will then see Install option next to game. click install and wait a few hours for a full install, reset your controller and options and away you go! Did it last week. nothing to loose. (Steam will remove all files in uninstall inc any hidden files old logs ect)
