I'm looking at the files making of Automobilista 2 (downloaded today in April 2023) and I see it depends on a number of very old files, for example the APEX* and PhysX* files were signed by NVIDIA in 2014, d3dcompiler* was signed by Microsoft in 2013.

I'm sure NVIDIA and Microsoft made quite a few improvements to those components in the past ten years, fixed many bugs, and added support for much newer GPUs. Should not your app(s) get a performance boost on newer hardware just by upgrading these dependencies?

Compare file modification time stamps and version numbers relative to Nvidia driver releases.
