After being mercilessly punted out from the lead of a JCW Mini race at Laguna Seca, I noticed my laptimes dropped 4-5 seconds a lap merely from visual damage to aero parts. I was getting easily gapped in the straights even though damage was set to visual only. I've noticed this before with a few other classes and just figured I lost my nerve and slowed down, but this time it something felt weird. I know I've lost wings before and not had any performance penalty, but the Mini didn't feel like the same car after I was hit.
Found another potential case of visual only damage causing drag. While running an oval series using the BMW GTE we noticed visual damage caused one car to lose top speed compared to the field.
