I notice while driving in Formula cars especially that I am receiving a constant vibration in my vision. Basically, my view is constantly wobbling up and down. This leads to a very blurry view and makes me feel slightly nauseous at times. While I understand that the movement of my VR head is realistic, the effect is not. Our eyes / brain naturally account for this motion and stabilize the picture that we see. In other titles I have seen options like “lock to horizon” as well as adjustments for head wobble. I have looked in the settings of the game as well as some of the files in the install directory, and I have not found anything. Are there currently any adjustments available to tune out this kind of movement ?
under camera, u will find options like gforce effect, world movement etc. if u want to be attached to the car, then world movement 100, everything else 0 if u want that the car moves but ur view stays stable, world movement 0, which basically is something like "lock to horizion" gforce effect felt pretty bad in vr, that will make ur camera/head be affected by gforces, so under braking ur camera will go forward etc
Thanks ! My first AMS game, and I was overwhelmed with all the new options and setup of hardware, so I must have just looked past these settings and not made the association. Thank you for the explanation of the settings, I will check it out.
