Hello, I just purchased AMS2 with the Season Pass. I am playing in VR and I can say driving those 90s F1 Cars on historic tracks is just so much fun. But I have a problem which is really annoying for me. When I am in the cockpit, the sound is really muffled. When I am turning my head or in the outside view I can hear the full engine sound. I know in a lot of other games there are helmet Simulations which muffle the sound to reproduce the feeling of being under a helmet. Normally one can turn such options off. But I can’t find anything. I already deactivated the helmet option under the camera options. Any ideas to solve this problem? When racing against the AI the engine sound of all other cars are really loud…so it’s a bit confusing why my own engine sound is so muffled. Thanks in advance and best regards
What I did, Get in Car, get on track, press esc go under audio turn all sliders to 0.. now 1 by 1 adjust them to your liking.... Have Fun
Hi, thanks for the input. But it´s not a about the volume. It´s about the engine Sound being muffled. From an audio engineering perspective it seems that there is some kind of lowpass Filter activated (only frequency below a certain point come through).
Ok I found the solution. I have to turn on Spatial Audio in the windows sound settings. Now there is superb sound inside the cockpit. Maybe it’s a bug?
