I just got the DFP295 wheel base with the R295 wheel. AMS2 only regognizes the three rotary swithes in the center as POV Up/Down buttons. So, for example, if I want to use one for adjusting brake bias, I can only adjust one click forward and one click rearward. I checked with VRS and they report that other users have reported this and their coaches also have the same problem. I have a button box with rotary switches and they work as they should. I do not have this problem in AC, ACC or Race Room. Any recommended solutions? Thanks

Sounds like you need to run your steering wheel in legacy mode. AMS2 only recognises 32 inputs per device i think it is and to get around that you run it in legacy mode which splits your device in multiple devices.

Also you could try turning off the steam controller.

See the link below for same issue with Asetek wheels.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know how to run the wheel in legacy mode. I assume that's some AMS2 in-game setting. Could you point me to where that option is located? Sadly, I'm not sure what you mean by turning off the steam controller. If it's in steam under AMS2> Properties> Controller, it says enabled, always required.

In Aseteks software the legacy mode is something that you can toggle on and off. You might need to see if there is an option in your VRS software for that.

Yes that is the right spot for the steam controller, you can try with it off to see if it makes any difference, if not then just turn it back on. It is a bit hit and miss for me.
