Love the game but the wet weather driving is like driving on ice. It's fine when you put on rain tires but way to slick when it just starts raining and on slicks,i can barely make it back to pits.
Do you have time acceleration on? It could sound like it, because when you drive with real time you can drive quite far before you have to pit for wets
If you've ever driven with slick tires on a fully soaked wet track IRL, it is like driving on ice. It's down right terrifying and some of the craziest white knuckle driving you'll ever experience. I was in an amatuer enduro race last year where I saw a bunch of cars in front of me cars slide off the track, in full wet conditions. When it just starts raining and the track surface hasn't soaked and there are no puddles, it's not so bad. But you eventually hit a crossover point where the slick tires become undrivable and the only option is either use wet tires or street tire with treads. But once the track is soaked, driving on slicks is down right dangerous. If anything, I think this game is a bit more forgiving with light rain conditions (compared to real life), where the track doesn't soak up as fast causing more slick and dangerous conditions.
