No one has time to mess with calculating fuel between qual and race within the 30 seconds of time when everyone is rushing to click "ready". When the race is setup to laps, then it's easy, no calculation required since the UI provides fuel in "laps".

    - The UI doesn't offer the size of the fuel tank or the fuel consumption per lap like other sims..
    - Cannot assign a key or find a way to have crew chief tell me the fuel consumption...
    - Cannot use online fuel calculator since it's asking fuel per lap..

What's the quickest or automated way to get the min. fuel setup correctly?

@Marius H You can ask Crew Chief BEFORE the race starts or you mean mid-race for a pit refuel?

I was using the link you sent but it requires the fuel consumption per lap, which brings me back to the OP. I will test CrewChief and see if I get some success in automatically setup the min fuel for a timed race.

    Crewchief can do both.

If you know the duration of the race you can approximate the laps by laptime.
20 minute race: 20 x 60 = 1200 seconds; divide by the laptime average: say, 1:37 = 97 seconds; 1200 by 97 = 12.3. So round it up to about 13 laps worth of fuel. I do this all the time in AMS2 races.

I understand the math logic, the issue is I'm busy adjusting my setup while making sure I don't run out of time, so i don't have time to fire the calculator or excel while avoid missing the start of the race. I will test CrewChief later on today and see if it works.
