I would like to know which real car these generic models most closely resemble:
    - M1
    - M2
    - M3
    Thanks

Since the MP4/4 is in this class, we know that the FC Gen2 cars are supposed to be part of the 1988 season.

Also worth noting is that the M2 is the same 3D model as the M1 except for the rear half of the sidepod being cut away, exposing the engine.

The M1 seems to be a Williams FW12, but the sidepods and rear wing are different. I think those parts were taken from the FW11B instead. Someone with better knowledge of historic F1 please correct me on this if I'm wrong.

There were only 3 cars using a V6 in 1988, Ferrari, Lotus and McLaren. This means the M3 is either a Ferrari or Lotus. I'm leaning towards the Ferrari F1/87/88C because the rear wing looks similar.
