Hey all, what have you decided to splurge out on for your sim rig for Xmas?

I will start the discussion, I have a customer GSI GT Max32 on the was from Texas and today I ordered the Grid Porsche 10.3 DDU.

Unfortunately they won't make it under the tree as they won't arrive until next week.

Nice idea! Your wheel looks awesome.

I've bought myself a handbrake (mostly because of AC Rally). I didn't want to spend too much money because I only use my desk to mount everything, so I went for the aikeec 64bit handbrake which only cost about 50 EUR.

And - of course - I've already tested it. It works better than I expected. It's far more easy to get the (hand) braking right with the analog input. I'm really happy that I had the courage to order one of these, although I had been sceptical.

Thanks, I have never heard of that brand before, are they new? Which cars in AMS2 do you use a handbrake for, the dirt content?

It seems to be a relatively unknown brand (made in China?) but I'm very happy with this handbrake.
In AMS 2 I use it for the RX cars and the McLaren MP 4/12. In AC Rally it's a must. I was going crazy with the button solution; I wasn't able to drift through hairpins because it's so tricky in AC Rally when you just have 0 or 100 brake pressure. Now it's a lot better by any means.

Yes, having a handbrake really helps. I have the Sim Lab unit and love it - both for its features and compact size.

I recently purchased a new DD & Wheel, the SimuCube3 Pro with the SC Valo GT-23 wheel.
I'm really liking it so far but, ACR has been calling my name a lot since its arrival. :D

I had the same one before my MOZA handbrake I am using now. It does the business well, except that upper rubber protection is bad, really bad and after a while it will probably rip. Just find some thicker rubber somewhere and put it on instead the current one.

There are millions of that same generic handbrake littered all over Amazon and AliExpress for years now. You don't need to look for any particular brand. They're all basically the same.
