Just wondering been playing AMS a lot lately. The ai seem to have noticeable traction gains than me, in cars unlike the v10. For example the Brazil stock car, does this use any assists IRL? What others may use TRC or ABS IRL? I hope in AMS2 we can see a factory assists option so use what they do in real life?
In AMS1 any vehicle that has electronic aids in reality has them available to select in the garage screen. These shoudl be available regardless of dificulty setting where appropriate (v10 is the example below) AMS2 does also have factory aids only option.
Another question about aids. If you disable driver aids, do you disable them just for yourself or also for the AI drivers? Does it affect them in any way?
Hmm I don't think the stock cars have any assists But my low speed grip is horrendous compared to the ai, take the slow tight turn 2 at speilberg for example. I'm struggling to put power down and the ai just plant it.
The AI use simplified physics. That way larger fields can be used without hogging all the CPU cycles like AC and ACC.
