I'm a backer, so I have both the Beta and Early Access versions of AMS2 in my Steam Library right now. I've noticed that when I change FFB settings or active car/track combo in one of them, those same changes are made automagically in the other. Just now, when one updated, so did the other (although the updates were different sizes). So, that begs the question: What's the difference between the two at this point? Does it make sense to keep both versions on my hard drive? Thanks! Bert
If you're mainly an offline racer and want to receive patches earlier (also buggy ones) then just keep the Beta. If you want to race with friends and such, and want to do time-trial when it's available delete the beta and download the main. Or just rename the beta and install the main and let it check for files As today both versions are the same, but beta receives lots of patches and beta-testers test them and if they are good they will be released to main and then the people at main can test more and report too. And the circle repeats.
currently updates to EA came one day after beta main release. In case of DLC content i think beta content will be there much earlier.
