Wierd Bathurst issue

Having a wierd issue, cars will only spawn with wets on no matter what the weather is set to. Exit the pit lane and no matter what gear im in its like driving on ice and just spins the wheels. Also looks like theres some sort of texture issue

 

wow is this on a desert? I dont remember that much sand, cant double check now but im positive there is more green

 

Yeah ive seen other peoples screenshots theres definitely more green lol

 

You guys need to change the date in the Practice or Race setting. Australia has snow in June

Its not that simple. Wont let me change date in the race settings. Only time progression, weather slots and weather progression. Strangely track works fine in test day mode where you can set it to run at real australian time

 

Im having a different "weird Bathurst issue" !!!! I can drive in SP with myself or against Ai and its perfect , Ginetta, but as soon as i drive in TT the brakes are totally different ! The car stops on a dime where it usually has the normal "brake at 70 meters" feel and i can really stomp the pedal initially and release gradually , but in TT its like a switch , on/off pedal !

 

No its not that ! I have driven nearing 100 laps around Bathurst in the Ginetta with default setup other than fuel and i can do 2:15's consistently but in TT i'm having to drop brake pressure to 63% to get a pedal anything like i have in SP ! I tried to match the time in SP to the same as TT to see how the track felt and its perfect in SP but if you have a look at my TT time , i can only manage 2:17 and have a look at my setup , i've got the brake pressure at 63 % and it still cant match the SP pedal or times ! I've tried to restart AMS 2 thinking its a load bug , i tried others setups but they all have 85-95 brake pressure and its undrivable for me

 

Im going to sit and let the brakes cool before starting my lap in TT to see if ive just never had the brakes up to temp some how .

Nah mate i'm no legend but i cant replicate that 2:15 in TT atm while the pedal feels different to what i've become used to in SP Maybe if i can figure out whats going on with the pedal i can show that pace but atm its 2:17 .
Cooling the brakes didnt make the pedal feel like i have been using though

You're both legends. I managed a 2.20. on default setup. And I thought I was fairly quick
Where do I find 5 seconds.

 

Just tried Adelaide and also have the exact same issue as i do with Bathurst......all other tracks work fine.

 

As far as I can tell, he uses the default setup..

 

I don't have that issue in Bathurst with the G55. Did you enable in your HUD the element for the Brake temperature? It will give you more information about the Brakes, how fast the heat up and more importantly how fast they cool down.
On another note, everything under 2:20 is un-godly

 

I use Simhub and can see the temps are higher is TT than SP but even when I cooled them the pedal wasn't the same. I did some laps trying to get used to them leaving the pressure at 90% and managed 2:17 again but just still can't get to my SP times
