Automobilista v1.0 is RELEASED!

    We´re happy to bring Automobilista out of Early Access as v1.0 is now officially released!

    V1.0 brings a new series (F-Vintage 1967 & 1969), new track layouts, along with an extensive list of fixes and updates to the current Early Access version.

    To reflect this release, base game has been upgraded to full price @ US$ 39.99 (and accordingly for other currencies) on Steam as Early Access discounts ends - we remain with launch discount of 10% for the initial launch week, and until Sunday 28th you may also buy it from our forum store for only US$ 29.99.

    Prices will also remain discounted until Sunday 29th for the full Reiza Membership Package (base game + Season Pass for all DLCs + beta access) @ US$ 54.99, and Membership upgrade (Season Pass for all DLCs + beta access for those that already own the game) for US$ 24.99.

    The AMS "Season Pass" for all upcoming DLCs (for those that already have the base game) and the bundle of AMS Base + Season Pass is also available at the Steam store page now.

    The only difference between the Steam AMS Season Pass vs what you get with Reiza Membership package from the forum store is access to Reiza 51 development forum - everything else (DLCs & AMS Beta) is included in the Season Pass.

    Some further important info regarding this release:
    • A new player profile is strongly recommended.
    • Replays from v0.9.8 and earlier may not be compatible with v1.0
    • Mods might need to be updated - specially mods that are in the REIZA28 - REIZA35 range as those slots have been reserved for official content as well (modsin that range won´t show up in menu).

    • Folder "\SCREENSHOTS" is now created in root configurations folder rather than as subfolder of Userdata (needs to create a new config.inito take effect)
    • Fixed opponent class filter so it no longer displays different cars in a same class as the same
    • Added extra track and vehicle information to showroom & loading screens
    • Added music fade out during loading screen
    • Added spectator mode option to the multiplayer lobby screen (was previously in create session screen which caused some confusion)
    • Fixed bug with multiplayer opponents appearing floating when loading replays from the replay fridge
    • Fixed bug with some sound effects looping during replays
    • Fixed bug with Multiplayer menu settings not working
    • Fixed issue with cars not featuring an onboard engine starter being unable to start in a formation lap by having pit crew fire up the engine
    • Fixed vehicle selection menu in multiplayer to display only allowed cars when running All Cars & Tracks
    • Speeding in the pits & not respecting blue flag now award drive-through penalties rather than Stop/Go
    • Tweaked position of Main Menu series spinner & added page number
    • Mod tracks are no longer listed for Time Trial mode
    • Added missing championship configuration options
    • Updated input binding options when a command is already mapped to another function
    • Added UI option for setting qualifying length
    • Added UI option for multiple race heats with reverse grids

    VX portal is also now also officially launched at www.virtualxperience.net ! You can access the multiplayer lobby and launch the sim straight from your browser. Our official public servers will also be deployed shortly.

    I see major overhaul reference for F Reiza including throttle maps, does this update also include whatever Niels was testing with the F Extreme in the video he posted to his youtube?

    Impressive Reiza. I have just one question, has the controller id issue been fixed where you have multiple controllers connected, e.g. button boxes but they do not work correctly because when you boot up the game the controller ids get switched? This is the only thing stopping me from committing to your dlc. Since ea was released I have only logged a couple of hours because of this issue.

    where is this? server options seem to be the same

    Man the VX portal is pretty cool, now I wonder what can be done to make it more kown to players.
    Btw what about making the "Join" button a blue "Spectate" button in case the session is in race and allow spectator so the game launch in that mode already?
    Hmm edit: nvm.. the above suggestion could have implications on each server bandwidth maybe

    Small mistake on my end was prompting users to create a new profile (even if they´d already had done so). If you have already updated please restart Steam to rectify this.

    Congrats Reiza! Time to celebrate the achievement that is Automobilista!

    Looking forward to going back home and spending many hours in the racetrack... And, of course, looking forward to the next steps in the Reiza saga! Let the DLC come! Can't wait for Reiza17!

    Didn't have that option after the update, since I'm seeing people getting a mismatch on original tracks I guess gotta do a integrity check in the server.
    Edit: integrity check done, no files were downloaded, these options do not appear
    Another thing: "Added track progression & quali length options to AMS Dedicated tool"
    Wasnt the qual lenght already there before?

    CART Extreme uses reiza29 and doesn't show up anymore after the update (as expected due to the reserved dlc range). I just renamed the srs and tga to reiza93 and now CART Extreme is showing up correctly.

    I had to double-check if it's really v1.0 that I have, because first thing I've tried was F3 and boom! You didn't fix the steering wheel lights in T-cam view...
