@TronLi Yup, just imagine custom championships with custom skins where all AI behaviour is set, but the feature I'm looking the most would be the ability to share those configurations with other Automobilistians

@stealthradek A long term goal could be to add online support so friends could drop into your championships and take over for some of the AI (if disconnected, the AI would continue in their absence).

 

Right, PPG Cart / IndyCar from mid 90s were the best. Much much much better than IndyCar from today which is not compareable to that time.
I hope that Long Beach will also contain historic layouts, that from 1992 (I remember my first IndyCar game from Papyrus) and the old F1 track from the end 70s/ early 80s.

 

Those were decent games... I think I played the follow-up to that on either a 486 or a pentium 166, it was that weird in-between time.*refreshes Steam meanwhile, I mean why just be patient?*
before that I just played Accolade Grand Prix, and that was balls in comparison.
I had a period-correct MS Sidewinder joystick, that I attached "stick to table" with a clamp from my dad's toolshed.
Then I bound the steering to the "rudder" axis, and we had ourselves a wheel.
It was a simpler time... *checks Steam again...*

It was not bad but compared to IndyCar.... I loved IndyCar and played till I my old WinXP PC left.... that was about 6 years ago.

 

I am very grateful for the quality-of-life features to have a custom camera position and FFB Gain per vehicle and addressing some "extra bumpy" cars (hopefully, like the V10 and Formula Reiza). Those items were high on my wish list.

In any case, from my cultural background, I assume ”before new year’s eve” means ”before we go celebrate the end of this year”.

The more I look at AMS2, the more it makes me laugh....come on Reiza, you can convert all your package to rF2 like for the rF2 Reiza Bundle, cause can we all admit that AMS2 is massively inferior to rF2 ? (OMG how much fun I have with the Reiza fR2 bundle, the AMS2 version of the rF2 Reiza bundle content makes me puke). It's not about time, it's just cause the rF2 physics and FFB are better.

A well known issue. As much as I played the heck out of rF2, and it still holds a special place in my heart, there are so many problems with it.
Not least of which are the graphics, which is to me the most obvious hurdle to overcome.
Once past that, I barely know where to begin.
Fps up the wazoo but weirdly stuttery in traffic, because apparantly it can't utilize much more than 1 core still?
I won't even go into the weird menus, insane loadtimes, inconsistent AI...
I left it in the past, which is, imo where it belongs.
