@Renato Simioni, post: 114590, member: 4"The update is large in size (1.6GB) because of a build error changing the checksum of some large files that have otherwise remained unchanged - we apologise in advance if that causes any inconvenience."

My update was 787.2MB FYI. Loving all your work and improvements.

Thank you. I will need to find a different way to make the cars more stable with gas application in medium to high speed corners :(, it's all oversteer right now.

I appreciate the continuous updates.. I was hopeful for Eau Rouge to be tweaked for the Ai as they are dangerously slow.. Tested with the GT1/P1 100/100.

Maybe in the next update.. :)

    Huh...
Two days ago I had to run Steam integrity check as a track failed to load after the 1.1.0.4 patch. After today's 787MB patch I immediately ran the check again after reading the checksum part in the patch notes and 12 files (2.5GB) have failed the verification again. I am fairly certain that my drive isn't failing (ran disk scan and smart diagnostics). There must be something wrong with the patching process...

Found the list of the corrupt files in the Steam log files (the files aren't actually missing, just have from 1- 6 corrupt chunks reported):
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\Adelaide_Historic.bff"
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\bathurst_2020.bff"
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\BrandsHatch[Group].bff"
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\Granja_Viana[Group].bff"
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\Hockenheim[Group].bff"
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\Kansai[Group].bff"
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\kyalami_2019.bff"
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\montrealhistoric.bff"
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\Nurburgring_2020[Group].bff"
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\silverstone_1991.bff"
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\silverstone_2001_intl.bff"
    [2021-01-15 19:31:16] Validation: missing file "Pakfiles\TRACKS\silverstone_2001.bff"

It's a little strange that only track files from the same folder are corrupted. If there was actual drive corruption the affected files would probably be more random. And now I remembered that some of these exact files (specifically remember either Adelaide or historic Adelaide) got corrupted a couple of months ago after some patch.

After reading I ran to provide you feedback following the 787MB update. All files successfully validated.

    Time Trial: GT1
    Location: Imola Historic
Problem: Time for the GT1 class group does not include the Porsche GT1. On its own it displays correctly for vehicle

Yes, that would be great when there are wreckers in your session (and they have found you)!
I think all these proposals sound great, but I wouldn't like it when I can't go on with my race after preparing my car for this race (race and qualy setup) when a wrecker hits me.

I get clutch slippage with the p1 metalmoro v6 turbo. I will test other prototypes as well. Also idk if its for other tracks but the metalmoro p1s and probably the sigma p1 AI don't open their DRS at spa, so its pretty easy to just overtake them all using DRS.

AMS2 really has come a long way recently, yes there is still plenty to do but I can safely say it is my favourite Sim. Maybe of all time too.

I don't know when, but from last playing 2 weeks ago to now, there has been a huge improvement. Particularly on the old school turbo F1 cars I noticed I can catch and manipulate the slippage angle of the cars so much better now. It was like that on first release but then at some point it became hard and un-natural almost, particularly corner exits under power. The default settings are really lose on entry too but it's nice. Of course I'm no ex F1 driver or pro racer but at least it feels intuitive to drive again. Thanks for the update Reiza. Loving it.

Does anyone know if you can have more than one championship on the go or if I create a new one will it override the existing one?

Thanks - those are indeed great but I believe they are for the Brazilian F3 series (correct me if I’m wrong). They would still be great to use though!

The discussion is about single-player championship (offline). The AI are not wreckers as we have online.

Wow, the pops and crackle in the Sprintcar and Cat Academy are either gone or at least 90% gone. I am not using headphones, so may be missing something, but they have been glaring obvious all along and now are expunged. New engine sounds are so much better overall as well.

Now, could you explain why the Cat Academy (and Camaro SS street car) have perpetually squeaky brakes? Very annoying--shouldn't it only happen until they are up to normal operating temps? If that's not possible to program, then please delete the sounds as they are quite unrealistic.

From the prior release (it's hard to keep up with you guys), the faster AI now appear to be able to pass slower class or slower vehicles without a major problem. Yeah!!!!!!!!! Mixed-class racing with AI should now be on the fun agenda :)
