Sorry but did 1.1.01 go out? VX is still missing lap times.

There hasn't been an update to the main release yet, no.

@gongo hey man, any chance the full course yellow is actually caleed by the spotter as "Full course caution, grid is frozen" (if using that option) or at least "Full course yellow (or caution)" rather than "double yellows"?

I see, tho still think the "double yellow flag" audio should be removed, but not sure how many people race online with FCY xD so I guess not much important.
There is a FCY option to not freeze the grid but I guess no class in Reiza content would use it (Formula Truck should, with a plugin to call it mid race as they do in real life), I already did a online league like that tho, it's really fun but having to call it manually was a bit annoying ^^"

Not saying it's incorrect, just trust me people will likely ignore a "double yellow" warning but will get what full course yellow means, IMO

See that huge full course yellow warning in rF2, exagerated as hell :D but totally necessary, way too much people just need things to be as clear as possible, unfortunately xD

In the IMSA Endurance series they routinely under FCY waive by any car caught between the safety car and their class leader so during the wave by you can see quite a few cars going at a pretty good clip past the slow traffic.

Then again its an American racing series so it probably makes the European safety minders have a heart attack the things they do, like race at tracks that still have some grass somewhere.

At the recent race at VIR they were musing about how you could bail some hay out of all the grass that had been recovered from the intake grills of cars throughout the race when they went off track. Cars would go off and have to immediately pit to get it cleared. Way cooler in my opinion than the euro alternative of not losing any time or a position or having any impact on your race other than maybe getting rubber pickup.

Cadwell and Oulton both still have lots of grass which we will soon see in game. It's mostly just the F1/WEC standard tracks that are tarmac wastelands.

While grass is fun to watch if I was a team owner I'd hate it, grass is more expensive, so much crashes where the guy go all figure skating on the grass till he hits a wall and damage the car, if it was asphalt the car would stop a lot easier

Yea, if you were a team owner you'd prefer it if they never penalised you for cheating either and if you were a driver and had the fastest car or the best qualifying trim you'd prefer it if they never penalised you for blocking.

What the hyper competitive people who have lots of money invested in things want is often not in my opinion good for the sport. And for what its worth a place like VIR is considered extremely safe given how much room that grass takes up. Its not like classic European tracks where there's a wall 5 meters away. Its pretty much an open rolling hill side. Cars can spin out and go topsy turvy and barely get a scratch.

On the flip side making a mistake should punish you and I think damaging the car is a fair penalty to a mistake. Losing only a few tenths for what should be perhaps a race ending mistake is just bad for competition, but great for people who like to win.

Go to 30:00 and watch the hilarity. That car recovered and went back on track with no significant damage as far as I know.

No need to be sour. If you think I'm being a frantic aggressive pill then you totally misread my tone.
