It gives your posts a rhythm that reminds me of Jurgen Klopp. So sometimes I read your posts with his voice in my head.

    Don’t worry, it’s 100% positive, in this moment. :D

After the 1st lap P2P gets activated, then you can activate it 15 times in the race. When pushing the button, it takes 5 seconds before P2P activates (so it has to be used wisely in time), followed by a cooldown of 100s to prohibit 2 P2P activations in one lap.

That is the part I could not work out as it was deploying at slightly different speeds. Thank you Crimson for the useful info..

@CrimsonEminence - do you know the power boost figure? why does 100 hp vaguely come to mind..

I have no idea right now, how much it is. It's a good chunk of boost, but not sure if 100hp, seems quite much.

...not exactly tied to the current model however here is a very good read with a lot of info.

It's suggested around 80 HP as the throttle body is opened from 75% to 100%.

Interesting, but in reality, what does it correspond to? extra power from electric motor? or turbo boost?

These are naturally aspirated EFi engines. No turbo or hybrid..

The V8 engines all cars in the series run is capped at 75% capacity to preserve reliability and reduce maintenance costs, the P2P boost is not actually adding anything external to the engine, but rather lifting that restrictor temporarily for an extra 70-90 HP depending on the track (in AMS1/2 our boost is always the top value).

Thank you Renato for the confirmation. One last question if I may.. The Ui suggests that these engines have 400 Nm of torque however the in-game telemetry suggests that this is more like 550+ Nm at 75% (non P2P). Why is that and which is correct..?

I presume the Ui is out..

edit add: The Brabham BT44 and a few others in this class seem a little out too. The Ui suggest this has 265 Nm of torque. This vehicle runs the 3.0 L Cosworth DFV engine and according to wiki this is the torque output:-

The engine is a 90°, 2,993 cc V8 with a bore and stroke of 85.67 × 64.90 mm (3.373 × 2.555 in) producing over 400 bhp (408 bhp at 9,000 rpm, 270 ft⋅lbf (370 N⋅m) torque at 7,000 rpm was quoted) from the start reaching over 500 bhp (510 bhp at 11,200 rpm was quoted) by the end of its Formula 1 career. The 1983 DFY variant had a revised bore and stroke of 90.00 × 58.83 mm (3.543 × 2.316 in) giving 2,993 cc and 520–530 bhp at 11,000 rpm, 280 ft⋅lbf (380 N⋅m) torque at 8,500 rpm.

The telemetry HUD is showing roughly 340+ Nm (Bathurst) which is closer to what we expect. I believe the telemetry HUD also takes into account the altitude..

Are some of the Ui values out..?

Does anyone else get massive oscillations trying to get the MP4/12 around Lowes hairpin?

add: 28 degree steering lock sorted it..
