good to know matey because I've only seen air cooled 1.6 & 1.7 lt type 3/4s in the B class..

Do you happen to know the displacement on that Fusca FL?

Hmm does this occur randomly? It started up just fine just now. I just had to hold the clutch in. Mind you having no starter sound is often confusing for me in panic mode. I think starter sounds have functional importance in the heat of racing, not just presentational, and should be added sooner than later.

I think this was specific to the "rFuktor" series up to 3.2, simply because the feel of grip loss was made to be felt slightly too little early on for early reactions. "EasterFuktor" fixed that, but please do post me if you experience it again for any reason :)

Totally agree. I can't relate to any of the symptoms you are listing and I am using a DD1 on default FFB. Also whenever I get the feeling that front tires are struggling to grip under braking and turn in I can usually (and very reliably now) go ahead and tweak a bit the dampers and get a very solid braking and very enjoyable turn in, often including a good off-throttle oversteer. I am pretty sure there is a lot of (sometimes radically) "different AMS2s" depending on what wheel/pedals you are using and how they are setup... That is my conclusion from the convos I see here in the forum

I find this to be greatly overshot in some other sims and detrimental to the feeling of the contact patch forces which are actually the ones carrying the info about the tire grip.
One way to notice it is driving a car along a long straight like Mugello and just changing line: some sims will require a huge amount of force to do this almost as much as going through a corner. That to me is a clear sign that the gyro forces are quite exaggerated to appease people who want to feel the wheel always super-heavy

From what I have read I believe some Fuscas are inline 4's and not flat 4's. AP so probably 1.8 or 2.0 lt in the FL class. AR's are 1.3 lt which have a different ballast for their class.. 880 vs 830 KG.

I guess thats why reiza set the Fusca FL as S4 and not F4..

I tried Live for Speed again a few months ago. It has so much of this going on. And I could not get it to not clip at high speeds. Nice sim though.

Yes. It really sounds like people are playing a different version sometimes.

In fact, the only Fusca that has air cooling is the Hot Cars category.

The original series in 83-87..? If so it's very hard to find info on this series. I believe it had a few different names and whilst the Fuscas ran in HC from my understanding it was for points in TEG.

Reiza have the Fusca HC 1/2 showing the rear bulge and listed as a Straight 4 (non flat 4) with the same power output as the Gol which is a water cooled engine. From what I read the VW was a 1.6 L and the Passat has a few more HP in AMS2 so maybe it is a 1.8 L however that is only speculation. If you have any info or links to old articles that would be great for the Car Info Spreadsheet..

As this series ran to 87 it was maybe possible that they introduced a 2.0 L engine however again that is only speculation..

I can never find a rear facing photograph of the Fusca..
