    Hi

I can't play this game because the game accepts pedals movements as menu inputs.
When pedals are not used they register as -100% on the axis scale. When fully pressed it registers at 100% on the axis scale.
This make the menus scroll forever. The only thing that makes it stop is pressing the throttle and the brake 50% which makes 0% at the axis scales.

Is there a way to disable controller input on the menus? If not ... can you implement it?

To the best of my knowledge: NO :(
I have critisised this leftover from some game-ish service where Reiza like the Mad guys think its smart to be able to use your game pad  for menu control.
The only thing you can try is to find the socalled "Menu spring strength" in the menus and change it to 0.
But my experience is that it doesnt help :(

Thank you for answering. No, the menu spring strength did not help.

Game looks nice but is unplayable as it is.
I hope they will make the game pad menu selection an option. For me it's enough to be able to make my selections with the mouse or make the up/down/left/right bindable.

    Agree.
People would help you more easily if you add a signature containing your hardware specs
Anyway your question seems above my knowledge

    Edit: Sorry I re-read OP you've got a Hioa9s4d13fkmdnrruni pedal

Why do you press your pedals when in the menus? I have some sprint pedals and they have never triggered anything in the menu but then I have no need to press them when not driving.

The issue is related to pedals (or any other input) calibration. When not pressed, signals should be 0, not -100%.
I'm not talking about in game calibration, I'm specifically referring to the axis scaling of your usb controller, which translates the analogue readings of each axis to the 16 bit signals used by Windows.

This can be done via DIView for generic USB controllers, Pro and Ultimate pedals or via the dedicated software for other models, like the Sprint pedals with SmartControl.
You should be able to find these tools on Heusinkveld website.

Hey I suddenly got an idea.
If the DIView thing doesnt solve the problem then how about the DXTweak2 - where you can tweak all the pedal (and wheel) axis as much as you want.
And add low and upper deadzones.

I don't press the pedals. The pedals are reporting -100% while not pressed.

I've tried so many times to fix this via DIView and I haven't succeded. What ever I enter in DIView still makes the scale go from -100% to 100%. I have the Pro pedals BTW.

Opening DXTweak2 pops up infinite number of error messages "An invalid argument was encountered.". I guess it's because the pedal scales are not centered.

Im probably wrong here - but could it be because your DXTweak is a bad version.
I have seen some versions functioning bad in different Windows versions.
Im using DXTweak2_4.30.229 and at least in my W7 its functioning perfect.

I just tried to unplug my pedals and start the DXTweak2. It worked just fine.
What I can see it does the same things that DIView does or am I wrong?

    Sorry. You are probably right.
To the contrary of DXTweak I dont really know DIView.
But I know that you can tweak as example axis and deadzones in DXTweak.:)

Basic question...did you try calibrating your pedals in-game?
how those work on calibration menu page?

Yes, it doesn't make things better. I don't know if I need the pedals untouched when I enter the calibration. But I can't. I can't even enter the calibration menu without pressing the pedals to 50%.

I hate this "feature" that use controller inputs on menus. It could be better if there is an option to disable controller inputs on menus.

I e-mailed the support at Heusinkveld the same day I started this thread. Haven't heard anything from them yet.

Yes, it seems like it's just not me who have problems with this. Why not make it an option!?
