A big disadvantage is that if something you liked about the game changes and becomes something that you reject, it comes on the pile of frustrations, which already existed because things that were planned do not go ahead and disappear into a very unclear planning, sometimes without getting a word dirty.

It doesn't reduces the waiting time, it only makes the waiting time more intense, I feel like I'm waiting for the moment when the game is more or less finished, and I feel like that's going to take us a while.

I play constantly with the thought of leaving the game alone for a while to see if it's going to work out later.
It is reassuring that I want it to be good so badly that I keep coming back, I like an online race every now and then, I drive my laps in TT while I listen to a podcast or watch sports, documentaries or movies
but I can well imagine the negative expressions. People need to be able to vent their frustrations.

If the game had been finished, it would have been easier to make a judgment,
You like it and you keep playing it, or you leave it behind if you don't like it.

It also grants us the possibility to influence many features as already happened in this forum and with the Q/A on facebook, rather than just get a done and dusted product. It is true that sometime your opinion may not be the one developers will follow and that will be frustrating, but the vast majority of suggestions have been somehow considered and followed so far or put in the to do list...
There is a reason why this approach is becoming more common nowadays and also the mentality of the users must evolve from the approach of the 90s when you were buying games on a CD...

Me too actually. It was really the main reason, i run out of space and have no SATA ports free anymore, inclusively an SSD on an USB-C, so i bought an M.2 1TB, space is too cheap today, let's make it artificially expensive (i hate myself :p)...and there are not many possibilities anymore, except migrating one of my old drives... :D

I think you don't know SRO Motorsports Group well, but here is the link, so you can analyze that Kunos in my example, could have launched other categories within the license, but preferred to focus on quality rather than quantity.

My surprise and many is that there is an acceptable level of an unfinished product, and when that goes beyond normal and seeing that instead of finishing something, it is best to launch more unfinished, because with a small team and in your words a team produces content and the other fixes the errors of the first, isn't it easier to reduce the pace of content production and direct more people to correct problems and lack of important resources even for Reiza to sell more games? Can a league use the AMS2 for a championship and the broadcast has no replay? If something happens in the race, whoever watches will not know what happened? It is difficult to implement some things, so focus the team to try to solve and not create more unfinished content generating more future problems, is it difficult to understand this? Physics needs to be revised on many cars, cars with front or rear wheel drive have little difference, as talking about Kunos is uncomfortable, play Raceroom and drive a GT3 and then a WTCC, an Iracing, drive a front and rear wheel drive and see difference, you have to be very fanboy not to see these things.

Mate, sorry but this is becoming pointless...Drive a GT3 in AMS2 and then a Hotcar Passat...if you feel no difference, then maybe something is wrong with your input or driving aids, don't know. You will not get more open ears by assuming fanboyism.

You have made your point clear, the fanboys have made their point clear, at this point, it's running in circles.

Sometimes its best to reread some things.
    #1

    .
Sometimes a short break 2 weeks, from pc/sims and here is refreshing (for me)
Driving a new car f v12 for me yesterday in online league at a track I dont like, getting punted at T1 then working to a respectable finish was still a pleasure despite issues.
    Nothings perfect

    Edit @Domagoj Lovric.
as well as additional sound effects producing an overall richer sonic experience.

Imo the Group C merc turbo sound is still too low and should at least be as loud as the Porsche. Pls, even just a tad !

    What what?
Are you talking about the HIGH screaming turbo whine?
Then you cant be for real.
My ear specialist (otolo-something) has forbidden me to even come near that "thing" in AMS2.
And Im about to formulate an official complaint to @Renato Simioni about this ear destroying sonic misunderstanding.

ByTheWay: Raising the volume of this - oh come on man.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Life is sometimes paradoxal dude. What i'm going to say is going to be pretty hard to understand but in the otherside it's one of the fundamental recipe that is making the simracing market alive. I would like to answer you and all the other guys asking people to make setup etc. I can do whatever tweaks you want but only for Assetto Corsa, AMS1 and RF2. I can tweak every single line of ini file, use any batch file for AC,AMS1,RF2 because at the end of the day i feel proud of having my very own sim with my own preferred parameters like physics, FFB, graphic, contents, sound (which is particularly bad with AMS2 too smooth and flat).Doing those this with those sim are psychologically rewarding because that's their original ecosystem and philosophy. Many AMs2 users seem not understanding this both logical and paradoxal concept. If AMS2 was moddable, people would be more open and patient , it will be an another story and more than half of people complaining would be happy somewhere tweaking the sim. But Reiza decided to take full control of the sim, they have to do all the job...users enjoy or make criticism. No middle ground... Like for ACC, RRRE, doing those things for AMS2 is the inverse it's like fulfilling jobs that have not be done.

Sorry this place is already taken by a sim called Assetto Corsa. Assetto corsa is already the sim that AMs2 wanted to be. A classic and authentic car and track sim. You can find most of the AMS2 cars already on AC. AC physics and mod quality is also constantly improving despite the fact Kunos already abandoned it. Tracks are updated frequently also. I'm not here to sell AC but make people come back to the ground...You can say you don't believe steam charts ...it's up to you

Imagine, we go over to the Kunos Forums and write this post with "AMS2" instead of Assetto Corsa into the general discussion. There is only one reason, why somebody does this.

This thread is not here to stir things up or for triggering people, if you have something useful to contribute, try to apply this instead. :)

Nice comparison with passat rsss, but it seems to me that you never played raceroom or Iracing, I forgot, AMS2 is unique for you.
I'll make it clear to you fanboys, I don't come here to debate with a lot of fanboys, waste time and show my dissatisfaction because I don't like AMS2, it's very, very much the opposite, I really like Reiza's products and I see an AMS2 far from having the quality of the AMS1 Game Stockcar Brand Cup as I already told you is great nothing bad everything on the right path I hope to be wrong, maybe in the beginning Renato wanted to say 3 years of content development and 8 to fix everything later ...

You already made your point clear, everybody with a different view is a fanboy to you and you disagree with the way, the game is progressing in development. When you are finished insulting, the thread might be able to return to normal level of discussion. :)

    EDIT:
And i don't play that many other racing games, most are on my PC to keep space occupied for some reason. sure. :D

The place of Assetto Corsa was already taken by GTR2. And the place of GTR2 was already taken by Grand Prix Legends. So why bother developing any new sims at all. If you are happy to play AC (many of us are not), I suggest you go play that instead.

The question is: is this high whine also there in real life or not? I think they should make it as realistic as possible, even if it’s not good for you. But they could implement an audio option to eliminate tinnitus triggering sounds (I‘ve seen this option in other games already).
BTW: do audio programs or headphones exist which are able to eliminate specific pitches or frequencies? This would maybe help guys suffering from ear diseases...

Or instead A person could use the equalizer to filter/balance the frequency's that affect their tinnitus, and still enjoy all the cars with g/box whine and turbine sound that annoy them, at any level. There are many equalisers to choose from for personal preference levels.
    Features:
    - virtually unlimited number of filters
    - works on any number of channels
    - very low latency, which makes it suited for interactive applications
    - low CPU usage
    - modular graphical user interface
    - VST plugin support
    Equalizer APO
10 BEST Audio | Sound Equalizer for Windows 10 PC [Free/Paid]

    Same engine same turbos
It is very much so. esp when driven hard

As demonstrated clearly in several RL videos I previously posted The twin KKK's, 2 metres from the driver are very loud esp in car, and can be heard from a spectators view IRL at many tracks.
The car is like an instrument and will play a tune with throttle modulation or rather it did.
