    rFuktor 4.4.

Last missing feature to come to mind added + extra spice on top.

    * Rear tyres bump feel, adjustable by "rear_bump_scale" & "rear_bump_hard". If you don't want it, just set scale to 0.0, also for karts.
    * Karts further adjusted by @Panos Schoino.

File is otherwise 100% same as rFuktor 4.3, so any change can be just copied over.

@Stakanov @Kuku Maddog @Peter Stefani and everybody else that posts a file: When you post, also let me know if it is to be put in that 1st post. As said earlier I will clean that up and post only the latest editions.

I tested 4.2.1 yesterday and found similar results as Kuku. I'll test out the 4.4 today and post later.

    NAME: SilverRaw-rFuktor-4.4-MomentumRack6.1-Karsten-PeterS-G920
    Date 05-15-21
    Starting point in-game: Tin tops 69 - 66 - 45 - 50
    Open Wheel types 69 - 60 - 34 - 50
Adjust plus and minus FFB level as needed.
    ffb_custom_settings - Silver Raw - rFuktor 4-4_PeterS_G920

Excellent work guys! Really like the tear effects. I was able to catch slides, feel the rear end slip, and know how hard to push the front tires.
I was only able to do the BMW_M6 and the Gen3_M1 to get the general levels balance between the two types. But, It was balanced enough that I could get a great feel just by adjusting the LFB and FX between cars.
Seems like once you get the basic Gain and Power Steering set for a Logitech, it'll probably work good for just about everything. I'm sure there will be some odd ball cars like the F309 that need some special settings to make it feel compatible, but that's the deal if you want it your way.
Hats off to the research crew !

LogitechHUB: Last version with default setting 900° and sensitivity to 50

    IN GAME:
900° All deadzone to 0 and sensitivity to 50 except the throttle on 30

    FILE FFB:
NAME: Silver Raw - rFuktor 4.4 - Momentum Rack 6.1 - Tuned by Stakanov for LowEnd Wheels and Logitech
In game setting select "Custom" with this starting value for Logitech:
    GAIN 78* - LFB (CenterFull) 74 - FX 64 - DP (PowerSteering) 54.
*Then, in the car setting, use +/- % of Gain for car to taste!!!

I have little to say, the original file is very nice and coherent even without personal optimizations, which of course I also carried out as usual, here is the file ... good evening to everyone and thanks to Karsten & Co.!!!! :)

    Updated tune for 4.4
Adjusting the long factor code to 1.2 improved understeer slip timing to match more what I'm seeing .
    haven't tried karts yet.
Have been able to do a couple of Pb's ,so its in sync .
    Great work team :)

Good morning from a sim novice. I have two questions. Firstly, is there a version of these custom settings that are designed for a DD1? And secondly, is the only install process to change the file name (as described) and save in the AMS2 folder? I’m not sure if some lines of code need removing depending on what wheelbase you are running.

    Thank you!

For DD1 id recommend the latest file without changing any lines. I was testing that combination specifically.

what I do not find so right are the details on the ingame settings and in the tuning menu for the DD1.

    Or have I overlooked something?

@Shadak : You have the same setup as me. Can your share your settings, please? :)

    Many thanks, Thomas

Sure, on the base I run 59 ffb with a bit of natural friction (around 5).
In the game I have gain 35, fx around 20 or 25 I think, damping (powersteering) 22, lfb 7.

@Kuku Maddog What settings do you run in-game & in your tm settings? I'd like to add to the new complete file for post 1, thanks!

Just getting familiar with this thread and appreciate the tireless work you are all doing to improve this experience. Thank you for simplifying posts 1 and 2. Is there a similar place to find recommended wheel/in-game settings for specific wheels (like CSL Elite)? Thank you again!

We actually are missing some suggested setting for CSL & CSW, but I would go from maybe what has been suggested some pages back and then change to my liking.
If those are no good, then go from some DD settings.
For fanatec settings I think Dri -2 was suggested at some point.

Be aware that "Damping" is not damping in the rFuktor file, but is instead power steering, so increasing it makes cornering less forceful.

Please post your findings so we can add to the file or the post.

Here are the settings I’m using with 4.4 on my CSW 2.5. The only thing I’ve changed in the file itself is “kerb_bump_scale” down slightly to 2.5, and “scrub_scale” to 1.4.

    Wheel settings:
    Sen Auto
    FF 90
    Dri -02
    Fei 50*
    For 100
    Spr Off
    Dpr Off
    Sho 100
    BrF 70

    In game:
    Gain 55
    LFB 10 (+/- 5 depending on car)
    FX 35
    Damping 50 (+/- 10 depending on car)

*I find having the FEI setting lowered on the wheel and higher FX in game gives a better feel. Higher FEI values bring in a kind of high frequency buzzing for me.

Loving it as above - thanks again!

FWIW, I spent a couple of hours driving a handful of tin top cars with 4.4 on my CSL Elite v1.1 Wheelbase and P1 wheel. I am by no means an FFB expert so I'm open to suggestions for improvement. That said, with these settings I found myself immersed in the driving experience instead of fussing with the wheel.

Again -- would love to hear other suggestions.

    CSL Elite v1.1 Wheelbase + P1 Wheel

    SEN Auto
    FF 100
    Dri -02
    FEI 70
    FOR 100
    SPR Off
    DPR Off
    SHO 100
    BRF 50

    In game:
    Custom (4.4)
    Gain 60
    LFB 30
    FX 50
    Damping 30
    Menu Spring 0

Are any of you using Fanalab's dynamic FFB in conjunction with the custom FFB files?
