Im currently making Photos of an Porsche 911 SC I have my greasy grabby hands on for a few day, to have enough matrerial for Nitpicking and rivent counting ;) It is curently parked besides a VW Up!, And there you can see what a tiny car it is. I mean the Porsche, no the UP! Surprisingly, the wheelbase of the 911 SC even shorter than that of the Up!

Thanks. Race was shorter than normal sessions, car gives lots of feedback inc spinning up over puddles/puddles drag etc.

Mm from in car view diffused light because of spray has its effect yes. In the track view in video though it can be seen that the 2 cars shed about the same amount?
Other tracks /countries same setting/time its darker and diffused light when following close is almost kind of foggy/misty to me much like motorways spray. Just my thoughts. Not to say they/graphics wont benefit from a tweek:)
Biggest problem is some cars rear lights are just almost useless in same weather/ +nightime m8! as in real life..

When I raced in Imola it was dry so no diffusion. You can see anyway also from your video that when you close in to the car in front its light are making the kerb on the side bright and illuminated, while on the side of your car the kerb remains dark.
In Imola is even more visible because at dawn the sun is shedding light on certain parts of the track but the first part of the track remains in the shadow (let's say before Tosa) because it's a lower side of the hill. So what happens is that where the sun sends light you can see but as soon as you enter the part of the track that still does not receive direct sunlight and is 100% like night, you are completely in the dark and your lights are doing nothing. It is as if someone flipped a switch as soon as dawn time comes and your headlights are now not allowed to shed any light on things around them, only vertical obstacles seems to receive some pale rays of headlight even though it is still pretty much as dark as night.

Agreed, fair weather and sunshine all the time it's a bit stale. I love me some night racing or dusk and dawn and changeable weather. It really elevates the experience to another level.

Yeah I've been loving the random real weather. The rain physics feel really good to me. One of my favourite features in ams 2
