Yeah lets make it short - but you are right its impossible in this forum to make a PM.:(

Ad 1. I shouldnt have used the word "compress" because there is a dial on my wheel where I in 10 steps can change the HW steer lock 180-360 degree. So if I calibrate in AMS2 using 360 then changing afterwards to 180 does "compress" the resultant law/relation between plastic wheel and virtual wheel.
Ad 2. "Law" is just as explained in last sentence the relation from your wheel and the virtual wheel controlling the virtual car.

ByTheWay: As I understand your problem then it can be solved if you as I have said play with the 90 degree point in the calib menu - and then ALSO (trial/error) play with Sensitivity and max steer lock in the car setup menu.

Come put your name on top of modern Imola in the 74 RSR TT mate :)

Thanks. Hope it is this "conversations" thing that I have now changed to this(pic).
    Why should I?
Because firstly I dont like this "mistake" of a car - and furthermore then there are some (few) tracks that dont cooperate with my needed handcontrolled "disable" controller setup.
The modern Imola is one but also the new (name?) is another.
Monaco is a complete joke

    ByTheWay:
Impossible tracks for me has something to do about too twisting/narrow corners for my combination of handcontrol of wheel, gear, throttle and brake.

I guess you deliberately try to misunderstand that the meaning with my sentence ofcourse was that "Monaco is a complete joke" to drive with my handcontrolled "disable" controller setup.
I absolutely dont mean without this quite obvious context that the track Monaco is a joke.
Quite on the contrary I was looking forward to this track the first time Reiza published some unnamed pics of a comming track.

ByTheWay: But have a nice day(s) with this your favorite car/track combi:)

I'm up for this one....interestingly, the car feels better in test day, than TT, maybe it's the pre-heated condition or so...

Okay, looks like i had it in context or a complete new sentence stating "Monaco is a complete joke" was out of context. Sorry, my bad.

The car and track fit together surprisingly well, i have to say. It's definetly a bit of a gamble with the sausages, tho.

"Historic Races" are more like cars shows, they don't push old cars like new ones, and they do not take the risk to detroy a rare car. The legendary Opel Manta 400 was out of action for two years, since is it very hard to get parts, even though its "just" an 80's car.
Additionally the 24h Layout does not feature chicanes, the Nordsschleife layout has not changed in decades.

Well...kinda...i wouldn't call some Goodwood races (just) car shows. They really run wide and go side to side without regrets...and they actually slide these things.

Michelin and other manufactures also provide radials for the RSR, but you can of course still get diagonal ply tyres, also hybrid tyres. Those have actually a lot of advantages over radials, like lower pressure ranges at higher speeds due to a stiffer tyre flank. I'm simply not sure if this translates very well into AMS2.
And no, off course you can't buy old tyres, Tyres are not allowed to be sold older than 3 years. And you can't get racing tyres from regular consumer tyre dealers, they are not allowed to sell them. I just asked for that 3 weeks ago.

Interesting, never thought about that. Seems to be 5 years here in Finland, to be exact you can sell tyres as new for 5 years after they're manufactured. But they can be sold as "used" after that.

So,in that case you need a complete set up change when useing "modern" tyres?

that would at leastr make a lot of sense, particulary camber. Road use radials don't like camber rates less than -2.5°, better only -2°.

Using racing setups meant for diagonal play tyres on a real road car on radial tyres usually ends with an undrivable car sporting an unsafe handling.
