There is not such an option in cp. Only on and off (latest driver here)

The only gamebreaking stutter I have experienced has been reported before, and it involves a complete slowdown, grinding the game almost to a halt.
This lasts between 5-10 seconds(that's right, completely ruining you race), and then it speeds up as in making up for the lost time.
Always happens twice in short order, this cycle. With the second one being shorter in duration.
Nothing seems to flush it out, Latencymon, different GPU drivers, Win10 builds/updates, reg cleanup, steam file verification, ssd trim, temp checks(I have an insanely cool system), mem checks and messing with the pagefile, etc etc.
Totally random and seems to occur everywhere at some point.
Had it happen in rF2, though less frequently.

I've made my peace with it...:(

Dear all, I have sometimes the same , stuttering in random conditions, which seems to be indeed a bug. It is appearing sometimes in rainy or night conditions, but not reproducable, mean when closing the game or rebooting pc and starting the same race again then stuttering is gone. I have a RTX 3080 with I9 10900X 32GB and the game usually runs stable with 60fps in 4K with max. details on all options and MSAA set to high. In general if you receive some stuttering, you should check if the .exe files in the "Automobilista 2" folder have set "disable fullscreen optimization" and "overwrite high DPI scaling by application" in the compatibility folder. If not, then you should set it this way. Of course you should do this always in any other games too where you have some stuttering like MS Flight Simulator ACC etc.

Have a nice day and keep on racin' !

This is something of a giveaway as to when they plan to stop development...;)
Also, the way things are going in general, we're all gonna be radio active from a global thermonuclear exchange.

Go easy on the "optimistic" rating please...:p

Great to see there's two versions; hope the 'touring' one isn't in the Mini and Lotus 23 class though. Fingers crossed the 70s GTs keeps expanding because that definitely has potential to be my 'go to' class - would happily pay for those expansions!

But being an American muscle car , it might ( no wait it will ) have no brakes and be allergic to corners .

I don't think I understood what you mean? One vette will be alongside the lotus and the mini, and the race-spec one will be alongside the porsche. or is there some other car class im not aware of?

It seems way too fast compared to the lowly Lotus 23. Hopefully the Touring Classic category will eventually see more period-appropriate pre-1966 cars added into it. But then again that would require AMS2 to acquire some new licenses instead of eternally remaining the Porsche vs. GM -simulator...

A Corvette 427, but something along these lines is what it should be.
    And a vintage 911 @ road Atlanta...
    I like this.

still seems to be mismatched to me personally, while the mini and 23 have all the agility in the world their pitiful power brings the relative cornering speed between both into question, if the corvette can take corners almost or as fast as the 23 and then have the power on the straights what chance will the 23 have other than on maybe circuits like azure?
admittedly i'm talking out my exhaust a bit here- it's not like i've driven either in real life, but considering the advancements in tire tech between around 61-63 when the 23 was made and 68-72 when the C3 model will probably be based on it does beg the question
