Is this week this week, or next week, or the week after or the year after?
As always, Reiza is surprising

Well, ACC's "huge" update was quite a disappointment to me. No VR performance increase at all on my setup, and the FFB is only marginally better.

Eagerly awaiting for AMS2's update! Hope it is out today or tomorrow!

No. The end of the month is Tuesday next week. Knowing that Reiza deploys updates on Fridays and weekends, I wouldnt expect any new content before the end of next week with the exception of the VW cars in 1.3 which SHOULD come out this weekend.

Uhhh...yeah. Thanks for clarifying that. I was actually just mucking around. I'll make sure I put bells on it next time...

I think if anyone wants to have an idea for themselves about what is different and what is the same... drive Bathurst in PC2 and in AMS2. There are some weird graphical glitches in the AMS2 version of the circuit in 2 or 3 places. The most obvious is at The Cutting. This exact same graphical anomaly exists in the PC2 version of this track as well.

However, it is EXTREMELY obvious how much different the visual road mesh is. The road and terrain itself is dramatically different from Quarry through The Cutting, and the whole section down the hill after Skyline, especially The Dipper and Forest's Elbow is completely new.

I dont think it's entirely fair to say they just reused a few assets here and there. It makes me think "oh they just borrowed some grand stands and hot air balloons". They borrowed a lot more than that. But they put a LOT of love into fixing the parts of the PC2 tracks that... and maybe I'm being harsh, the SMS team just didn't seem to care about recreating properly. The AMS2 version of Bathurst is so much better.

I presume the other "copied" tracks are equally as revamped. Anything that is copied is because it's good enough to stay.

Seems to me like historic SPA with Group C cars, but I might be wrong...

Yeah ACC was super disappointing. Still looks and runs like garbage in VR :(

I'm not sure where to post this but I simply have to thank the whole team of Reiza Studios. Your simulation is becoming my number 1 sim. I've just raced the BMW M1s at Monza 1991: AI closed the door, they were fighting each other, the car felt incredible, the sounds are really immersive (like tire scrub when you push to hard and get understeer) and the visuals (Nov 25th, 16:00) are stunning.
So, thank you very much for making this sim better and better.

I thought I saw a Jaguar GTP mixed in that pack of cars, but once I got it on the PC I realized it was a 962

Did anyone get a noticeable performance improvement with DLSS? I was still getting big framerate drops in replays. And my 3070 runs at full fan speed the whole time, even when in menus.
Aaages since I'd placed ACC, but the tyre model did seem to have improved, compared to what I remembered.

I've only got a 1070, but even with that I noticed a real performance improvement. What really strikes me is how much more like AMS2 the new handling model is.

Just did some practice last night but with dlss and fsr I got about 30 extra fps but that didn't have any extra sharpening like I used previously so not really comparing apples to apples. Image quality was a lot worse though due to no sharpening so not really sure where it stands
