Automobilista 2 V1.3.1.1 & Racin´ USA Pt2 RELEASED - Now updated to V1.3.2.0

Something I forgot to add- was the fact that all the chassis/engines have the same stats an intentional thing? I do think that having the performance differences would be a nice touch if we already have all the combinations but I don't know

 

Pretty cool. Half past 12, but I have to do another race.

 

Not had a chance to try yet but I don’t see any mention of performance optimisation in the changelog but I may have missed it. They say they found the source of the performance issues earlier in week hence update was moved to today. Anyone notice any improvements?

Just did an online race with ~20 cars and had no stutters or random cars jumping around.

@Renato Simioni probably better put this note on the update changelog for reference.
Would be a great way to test how it works and avoid newcomers moaning for FPS drops.

As side note, I remember about UDP in PC2 being quite heavy due the amount of data it "streams"...would like to know if you guys are planning to work on it and review how this works since I remember there is too much data and, at the same time, something was missing...maybe worth an UDP diet?

Yeah, seems not improved in the slightest. Still losing 2 seconds on straights in Cleveland (lobby with 28 people).

No idea what to do, except wish for a lottery win so I can buy a better PC...

 

Thank you REIZA! Another fantastic job as all ways. I can finally say the driving is onpar with AMS1 and immersion . I can feel the tires lose and gain grip, skip across the road, and when it is time to push. All this from a TS-PC, which came alive for the second time after this update. Thanks again.

Cars are incredibly good fun. I put a lot of hours into CART Extreme in AMS1, this is my go-to now for AMS2.

 

F-USA cars are nice, but are they all supposed to have the exact same specs?

Yeah, they all drive and sound the same except the name changes, I can't tell the difference lol.

 

10 laps at Cleveland, and my mind is blown. The things this car can do and how it tells you what is doing...amazing, simply amazing. This is one of the best driving experiences I have ever had in simracing. I had high hopes, but somehow this has surpassed them. I'm in love. Thank you so much Reiza.
