This track is so wide and flat that you miss the forest for the trees:).
That's why I love it. An annoiying but great challenge. :D
Of course, not for everydays mood.....

Well, I think Cleveland must be amazing and easier in VR, tho. I don't think such a flat track works on pancakes, tho. I thought Snetterton was flat, but Snetterton is lots driveable. Cleveland just lacks something on a pancake, but once you know the track layout it becomes much easier, but still kinda annoying.

I think he means a Flat panel TV/monitor and not VR.

VR does help. The apex cones/tyres are easier to spot with the free head movement. I still got lost my first few laps, but after one race it's fairly easy to remember. I kind of wish it was a little longer, but the short lap mean there isn't time to lose focus.

On the upside, it's a great track for overtaking. You can take several different lines when battling.

I use a pancake (flat screen) but I think Cleveland rocks (pardon the pun).

It's a bit like Donington National with right angles and a wider track. I've taken to it in cars from the G40 upwards.

Yeah it is a lot like Donington, except going too deep in the inside of corners won't immediately destroy your car:whistle:

    Hey guys,
I finally have a free Sunday ahead.:D So I want to fire up my again after a couple of months not gaming. Can I just download the latest beta and start where I left off or do I have to delete all my settings and start fresh? Eg, FFB settings, controller settings..

Any chance the pit timers can get a looking at in the next update? The CART cars can leave the pit lane without tires should you pit with no damage. Also, realistically should should be able to fuel and change tires at the same time.

I think the DPI suffers from a similar issue as I've seen DPI cars come out of the pits with no tires as well.

You should at least clear your tuningsetups folder. Old setups will not work properly anymore. (Documents\Automobilista 2\savegame\[User Profile Number]\automobilista 2\tuningsetups)

As for the fundraising idea, just imagine if Star Citizen was a racing sim...

For reference, it was the first video I came across that discussed the issue.

I had also driven the circuit at night and found a similar issue when driving the 1998 CART. Although it's good with the Nordschleife with limited light sources, it's not the case for a circuit which has historically been driven with cars without lights. This is on the default lighting settings so it's what Reiza intend to be the case.

It depends what resolution you VR headset is. Itd be nightmare to spot things in the distance with my old oculus.

I remember getting a 4k monitor and admiring all the details I could see compared to my old 1080p monitor. However when I bought my Oculus Rift I knew I was destined to drive in VR, but had lost all the details and mote. Reverb is a HUGE game changer compared to Rift.

Oh well done. You’ve actually had to (almost), double your word count just to clarify that you use…a frickin’ monitor. Y’know, that viewing instrument that 100% of us use on the forum? What about your Profiteroles (keyboard), or your Chateaubriand (office chair), or your Tartare De Bœuf Charolais Aux Huîtes (mouse), eh? Why leave them out?

Note: I target all…pancake…users in this rant.

Since when do the license holders give a discount for a niche racing sim or when the devs are "nice guys?"

I can assure you licenses for every conceivable car and track would be sought if they were actually affordable relative to the price charged and the number of paying customers. Unfortunately, giant publishers of mass market console titles negotiate licensing for their own purposes which does not include trying to keep things affordable for their competitors...or little independents like Reiza.

I know we've just had some awsome content come out, but there's some that came out before V1.3.0.0 that has improved so massively after the last to major updates. The Corvette C3 for instance is a different car, have folks tried it, its just awsome!
