Yep gtes and gt3s have improved since last update. Better tires and brake imo.

There haven't been any updates to the game in the last 2-3 days, I don't think. Are track conditions the exact same through your testing? Did you make any changes to your own equipment? This last week I made a slight change to my load cell adjustment, and I can imagine people with hydraulic pedals might have similar experiences, but these small tweaks to pedals/wheels settings can make a huge difference.

There was something with no notes last night 2244 GMT. My FUSA cars now have blue stars next to them, which suggests a default setup change or physics tweak??? Haven't played it yet tho. Having a F1 and RRE day :)

F1 Race Directors are definitely Reiza AIs. Maybe that was the update!

The blue stars mean it's paid DLC content.

can we have a better day light for TT? The difference in color and vibrance with custom race or whatever else is staggering..

When driving the Carts 98 using softs, the tyres get enormously hot just after a few laps without locking up brakes or really pushing to my limit. Car starts sliding all over the place and gets unpredictable and I am unable to achieve consistent (poor) laptimes with default setups.
Is it supposed to be like that? And is there anything I can do about it within setups?
Edit: I do not have this issue with the other open wheel cars of the game.

    According to SteamDB there wasn't:

You can also check what files changed here (scroll down to see the files): https://steamdb.info/patchnotes/7856155/

EDIT: btw I'm not saying any of you are wrong. The other day I had the exact same experience with a beta update that only touched CART and I could swear the GTs were different after it. Still trying to understand why, that's when I thought of possible equipment settings (changed my load cell sensibility just one click and it felt hugely different after).

I may have missed it since last update, but today we have softs, mediums and hard tyre compounds added for the F-Ultimate. Not sure about other cars - but if you are feeling different behaviour, check the tyres!

Believe me, I had a download of AMS2 today in German time at 3:25pm and colleagues of mine noticed these downloads already the days before

its probably a realistic feature, check the track temps. Use harder compounds if the softs degrade or overheat too fast.

Are you sure its not just the little update/sync thing it does after each time you run ams2, this is just the rating sync, not a game update

I’ve not had the chance to download USA pt2 yet but I put game on for 10minutes earlier and although the formula USA cars and Watkins Glen were gone (to be expected), Cleveland was still there. Is Cleveland free? Doesn’t really matter as I will be purchasing dlc regardless

If you were in MP only the host needs to own the tracks. That is most likely the case.
    Cleveland and Watkins aren't free

I agree to a certain extend. For some reason it feels like a 40deg FOV in AMS2 is much much more zoomed in compared to other sims (I hate comparisons between any sim btw). It almost feels like a FOV of 50 is closer to the value I would perceive as 40 in other sims.
Never mind and be that as it may, I like to sit quite far back in the cockpit, in order to see the central mirror in some cars and the side mirrors of most cars especially the open wheelers.
The real issue here is that the highly irritating image of the driver's suit comes in to and disappears from view as you accelerate or have an elevation change, or sometimes it just stays in the view if you need to move back some more. From my experience, only by changing the FOV to 65 or so, can you mitigate this, but then the real depth perception is gone of course.
Is there something to be done about this? Maybe and option to remove the driver's body like you can with his hands on the wheel?

Please be aware that most other simulators use vertical FOV. AMS2 uses horizontal FOV, this makes a difference and it's natural, that you need higher numbers.

Well what do you know! This makes so much sense, danke. Further to the driver's body then, do you think that we can somehow prevent it from popping in to view somehow in the future?
