Automobilista 2 V1.3.1.1 & Racin´ USA Pt2 RELEASED - Now updated to V1.3.2.0

Not sure if this is useful, but I have no issues in Release or Beta. I use a Fanatec shifter (sequential and H-pattern) attached directly to USB (not into wheel connection). Default+. FFB is great, with no oscillations. Paddles, sequential and H-pattern all work as usual. Same settings I have been using for a few months now, including "Fanatec" and "CSW" in my controller profile. Latest Fanatec firmware and drivers installed.

Maser I ment no flippancy by disagreeing, I'm talking specifically about a car (non kart) on a kart track. You get a different message something along the lines of this combo is not allowed. It was the first thing I tried after the update.

 

NP Commandant I would have tried the combo myself but I dont do karts tracks. However because of your post I tested TT and revealed a game freeze. this was unexpected as I ran online races earlier with no freeze or issues. So thanks

Dude it just means you have to hit reset to default in that specific car. After that you can load any setup you want....

 

Try this with the the Trucks..

 

You don't even have to, as it just is recommended for a better experience. It helps against situations where your old setup feels odd in a way that is hard to fix without resetting that setup first.

 

This is something I've had for a long time in AMS2, especially in time trials when crossing timing points usually. When I experience it, it doesn't last quite as long but it even saves it in replays.

I also get occasional stuttering during online races, especially when hosting and people join or leave. I've always assumed it was a consequence of my computer though, not the game.

 

You said about TT Board versions:

So next time you change something in your engine and render the TT boards useless you plan to keep the times again????...... Why? Wipe the boards or add version numbers with the ability to filter everything else makes the boards a useless mess that have no function: I neither can compare myself to these times nor can I use the setups or use the ghost, pointless!
Edit:Easiest version: just an added row in the record table that states 1.23.4324 or whatever else this mode is pointless as version updates come in...

The rejoining the race after watching a replay putting the camera in the wrong car -bug still hasn't been fixed...

 

I got shorter hiccups than Maser V6 in TT at Nurbs. One or two per lap. Same symptoms; loss of control during the hiccup and that totalled couple of my attempts completely. Mine were in VR though. Windows application and system logs were clean in my case.

 

Agreed, i thought i was going mad at one stage, I couldn't work out what was going on...

 

Anyone else with CSL DD have problems when using the CSL DD preset with their pedals not being recognized?

My pedals are recognized with CSR elite profile but not CSL DD profile.

 

You don't have to do them. No one is forcing you to make achievs. Its a challenge for those who want it. Unlike you I find the Achievements of rf2 stupid and uninteresting. good eve to you

 

Personally I find it good to reset the hotlaps each time there is a modification on a car. It would be stupid to keep unbeatable lap times because of a slower car for example

 

I recalibrated the wheel and it cured the oscillation but the auto rotation does not work now. I had to set it manually on the wheel to 260 degrees to match the on screen wheel, which is annoying. I only use the paddle shifters on the wheel.

 

Hi Gringo, The first time it happened as shown was in v1.3 release with beta ranked, main build online (somebody else lobby).Twice in mine 1st release, then bug disappear until today. varyfied files, 2 prior online races were ok, though the ai took out @Gdude66 rather harshly (different issue).
I will check log after food, and drink, and report when if/able.

I have to assign pedals seperate but not Fanatec (logitec with Bodnar usb link)
Wheel went a bit weird at first run (rotate to rhs,) reset again from pit and all good.

Just a heads up for fanatec users.

My ffb was a bit odd lately, so I came across a reddit topic and looks like some of the latest windows updates have messed up the fanatec drivers in some PCs. I did a re-install and its fine again.
