Just realized that Steam has downloaded an Automobilista 2 update and I almost went mad. Then I saw it was only "Workshop content"...
Okay, but while I'm still waiting for the real update: what is "workshop content" in AMS2?

 

It was already explained in this forum by the devs that it's not as trivial a matter as it seems: they know, they acknowledged the problem and they are working on it. As soon as they can have it fixed it will be.

 

If they remove the Sargento board, we should use this instead.

I wish we could adjust the mirrors ourselves, just like in ETS2 or ATS.

 

So it will be the last day of the month then, not today, it does look good though, cant wait to try it

That would be a huge disappointment for a lot of people if thats the case, since it was postponed once before by a rather large amount of time.

I would assume that there would be some form of communication if it would be next week, seems the good thing to do then i think

If there is info to be shared about a delay, why delay that till tomorrow then?

 

Having a delay of only a week feels miniscule compared to the almost 2 months we've had to wait already in all fairness

 

Well it doesn't to me, that it got postponed last month was bad enough, if it takes another week i really much rather not gotten another free old f1 car, and at least get the stuff people paid for in terms of racin usa dlc, at least communicate a possible delay earlier, but the same happens for a couple months now, i love ams2, but i am affraid another delay wont help the popularity of the sim, also starting the year with a delay the very 1st update doesn't vote well for the rest of the year, seeing all that was mentioned planned for 2022.

I honestly hope nothing happens that stagnate the growing playerbase of the last 2 months.

 

I don't know, as far as I can recall there haven't been delays this bad with any other update so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and saying that this update has just been a particularly problematic one for Reiza rather than a sign of things to come

 

Ehh, there's been delays of a month or more before. At this point, I expect updates/DLC to release after the initial date. Honestly, the only people eagerly awaiting it are the people who already play AMS2 a lot. If anything, a bit more polish will look better for the review cycle when all of the "influencers" immediately try to capitalize off of it. I know most of this forum just wants the cars now and knows Reiza will continue working on them, but hopefully, the improvements are worth the delay.

 

If the content is good enough for beta backers to release videos of on YouTube, it's good enough to release on January 31.

 

Yeah exactly, i also think it would be better if reiza themselves releases beta footage then the beta backer(s).
This way they might as well give streamers a beta key as well, at least then people get to ask questions during a stream, it would be even better to have someone from reiza jump in chat during streams and answer questions etc,etc
