Hello I migrated today from a fanatec csl dd to a simucube 2 pro. initially i was unable to calibrate my simucube wheel and had zero ffb in game i completely uninstall the game and try again. The calibration of the wheel is really weird , when i enter the calibration menu there is already a value (80) entered and the calibration is happening but really weird. after this i got into the game and as soon as i exit the pit , the wheel goes completely left and I can not ci the the car . all my other simracing games works. am I missing something here ? thanks
Sounds like an error during controller setup. Here are a few things that may help: Use the "Custom" option in Wheel type and create a new controller profile. Go to the Button & Axis assignment page, assign all axis and buttons. When assigning Steering axis, be sure to turn the wheel all the way and then return to center. Once that is done, exit back to the main menu, then return to the calibration phase to complete initial controller setup. Then adjust FFB settings to preference. Note: most DD-wheel users seem to prefer one of the recent "Custom ffb" files.
Some more simucube tips in this thread in the Help & Support forum: [Multiple inputs Detected] Problem when trying to assign controls
The rest of us recommends Default+, turning FFB Strength down in TrueDrive (~40%) to avoid breaking your wrists in impacts and seting gain in AMS2 to taste. Be sure to use at least a bit of dynamic dampening.
Ok now the wheel is recognized but I can not calibrate it properly. the calibration works but i can into the car , right after the pit exit the wheel goes all the way right and. I can not control it . gosh this is super annoying ……
I give it another try today and try all the solutions I was able to find online . Nothing works . As sson as I get out the pit , the wheel goes completely right and there is nothing I can do about it .
All is an indeterminate pronoun, so I'm not sure what you've tried? I had problems assigning my SimuCube. I reduced the rotation to a little value, I believe I choose 120 degrees in the True Drive driver. In game I choose assign steering, but did no assigning but immediately left the game, And restarted the game and assigned my axis. Then I returned my steering wheel to 900 degrees, in True drive and Game and calibrated it
hello , thanks for this answer . I basically tried what Dean proposed above here in his first answer , and I also tried everything I could try online in terms of solution . $ I mean how comes somethin so simple as assigning controls in a game be so buggy ??? "I believe I choose 120 degrees in the True Drive driver" ----- > what is the exact parameter to achieve this in TD ? "In game I choose assign steering, but did no assigning but immediately left the game," ---- > sorry, I dont understand this . You went to assigned controls and then left the game and came back in the game ? "And restarted the game and assigned my axis." ---- > when doing this on my side , it sometimes takes 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 different tries before the game detects my wheel ..... this is really really frustrating thanks
Steering lock/range "In game I choose assign steering, but did no assigning but immediately left the game," ---- > sorry, I dont understand this . You went to assigned controls and then left the game and came back in the game ? Yes just click the button and leave the game to reenter it (Don't know why but it helped me) "And restarted the game and assigned my axis." ---- > when doing this on my side , it sometimes takes 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 different tries before the game detects my wheel ..... Reducing the steering lock made the game detect my wheel,(I am not sure if I set the wheel on 120 degrees in game also)
