To be honest I agree on the rear being snappy on power and having a lot of power delivery lag (not only turbo as ERS in real life should fill the void sand MGU-H is used to pre-spool turbos).
As far as braking goes I get the opposite: even smashing the brakes it's hard to lock them, especially at medium/high speed but again IMHO that is in most cases related to different hardware and their settings, with some notable exceptions like the stock cars.

Nice to see another car being added to the title....tho I wish they would start talking about some of the improvements coming in the builds, as opposed to tweets of photos of new content.
I quite enjoyed the communication from the devs in the past, tho it seems to have dropped off in the past few months outside of the beta form and the once a month content hype tweet

Yeah, since about June 2021. From May 2020 to June 2021, we were allowed to read every monthly development update apart from September 2020 and March 2021, which means 11/13 planned ones.

After that, there were no dev updates in July 2021, in August 2021, in October 2021, in January 2022, February 2022 and March 2022, but two in November, so we'll say 4/10.

Combined with that, Renato has in total written 74 official forum posts from July 2021 to today, which is a timespan of 9 months. He has, however, written 157 forum posts in the timespan October 2020 to June 2021, which is also a timespan of 9 months.

Most of the current communication is, however, coming from CrimsonEminence, so I think he's supposed to fill in the gap left by Renato not motivated/able to communicate within the forums as much as he did previously.

Well, I propose that we add one of simracing's most legendary cars- a car burned into the hearts of classic simracing fans thanks to its absolutely mesmerising depiction in the first rFactor:

    The one...
    The only...
    The Temp Car.

As a forum participant I think we should also ask ourselves as users some questions as to how the forum has been "operating" since a few months.
Personally I found it increasingly unenjoyable and border line toxic, with little simracing content (suggestions, reports, requests for information, exchange of experiences and points of view) and increasing amount of repetitive rants and personal conflict which invariably pick up at the end of the month.
Like I said before, I find it inevitable that developers engage less in this scenario and will keep announcements and information close to the chest to avoid forum fires every second day.

It's a cycle at this point: users begin criticising parts of the game, other users get on the defence, a forum war engages, people dwell on how toxic the forums have gotten, everyone moves on for a little while and then it happens again

Its about the dumbness and toxicity creeping into the reiza forums, ams2 is more popular than previous Reiza titles, and the wider net has caught some bad apples who make this place unpleasant for devs to interact with.

I took some time again for counting the cars and series. And that is the latest status of the car inventory.

    We have theese;
    70 Total Series
    - 20 of them are Formula Series
    - 5 of them are Karting Series
    - 4 of them are Caterham Cars Series
    - 41 of them are the rest (3 new series that came on the latest three updates are Formula Series. Total 29 Series are open wheel cars)

    152 Total Cars
    - 55 of them are Formula Cars
    - 5 of them are Karting Cars
    - 4 of them are Caterham Cars
    - 88 of them are the rest ( 15 new Formula Cars and only 2 new other cars came after the latest three updates. Total 64 cars are open wheel cars.)

    Also;
The total series that have only 1 car.......: 32
The total series that have 2 or more cars: 38
The total series that have 3 or more cars: 21
The total series that have 4 or more cars: 13
The total series that have 5 or more cars: 7
The total series that have 6 or more cars: 2
The total series that have 7 or more cars: 1

The latest three updates are brought us 15 new formula cars. We saw many different cars about four months ago and we've been looking forward to see them all this time. But after four months, we saw only new formula cars. Again and again. And now, the developer said that the new car that will come next update is a new formula car. I really like the new gen formula car. Especially the newest one. I was wondering when this would come to the game. And i am really pleased when i saw that it will be come in the future. But i think we have enought formula cars. Especially you've given us more enough of them lately. I've lost my excitement for this game. If this game is going to be a formula car collection please tell us so we can find another game to get excited about. Lately you are only making happy who loves formula cars. And please respect those who are offended by this situation. Not everyone has to like old formula cars. (Note: I'm sorry for my poor english)

To be fair, all of the other upcoming offerings are tintop GT/prototype cars (Aston/Nissan GT3, Nissan Group C/GT1, possibly others)
And DLC promises to relieve the formula fever a bit potentially: The third part of Racin USA focusing on the oval racing side of things implies the chance of Stock Car Not Brasil coming to the sim, the Supercars pack will flesh out the road car offerings, Andrenaline could be anything really, and who knows what other little tidbits of content Reiza would throw in along the way
Is the Formula-other types balance skewed? Absolutely, but will it become more balanced over time? Probably

I don't know what they are planning. But it is so obvious they have added too many formula cars lately. And this is getting annoying. If we count the F-USA Gen-2 Cars, they have added to game 21 F-USA cars, 3 Formula Retro Gen3 cars and 4 VW cars on last four big update. We are talking about a period of four months. So a quarter of a year. I'm sure about that they want to be a unique on formula cars variations. In this way their game will compete in different classification with other simulation games. They may have made a change of plan this way. I wish the best for this game and the developers but I haven't played for about two months. Because every lobies always playing same cars and same tracks with shallow popular content. New formula cars and series don't change any thing about in mp lobies. We can't see new races or new players. That's why generally i can't find a ideal lobies with nice car, nice track and crowded lobies.

I might be a bit unpopular, but who cares... I love the fact they're focusing on formula cars. Every other sim is pursuing the same damn way: f*cking GT3 cars. People asking for that GT3, that other GT3, and when the Aston comes, and when the new Ferrari comes, new Porsche when?
Lately in the simracing industry this is the category who got more love, despite, personal opinion, being BORING AS HELL. You see the same cars across all simulators, and people still want more and more. I never got the love for these cars. Sure, they're good looking, but they're damn boring.
I'm happy to see a sim taking a different route for once, and I'm happy to see this amount of love for formula cars

We also need more players to learn the skills required to muscle 80s turbo F1 cars around Adelaide, rather than just know how to cruise around Monza in a GT3 in dry conditions. Obviously it is difficult, and not everyone who does drive the f-classics is called Aryton, but the sim community may need help to brush up on their driving skill.

On top of that, most of the formula cars we got were the highly expected CART series. And a modern F1 is also a must have for people who like F1, and Brazilians are crazy about F1.

"No more formula cars" doesn't mean "more GT3" cars. I didn't even imply that. Adding formula cars is a choice, but opposite this does not mean require adding GT3. Why does everyone always say this? When some one say "no more f1 cars", all of formula lovers say "GT3 cars exist in other games already". That is unneccessery answer for this criticism. We have so many racing series that doesn't exist in this game already. Or we also have so many racing series with 1-2 cars in this game, they could add new ones for them. They've showed us many different exciting car but they just adding only formula cars. If they are gonna convert this game from motorsports game to formula racing series, they should say that to us, i respect that. But you should respect who is not a fan of old formula cars. Also "no more formula cars" doesn't mean "we don't like formula cars". It just mean "no more formula cars". If you like old formula cars, you have tons of them already. Why are you criticizing the others? We paid the same money as you, and we have the right to say our demands. We are talking about that last added 21 of 25 cars are formula cars. This situation is deserve critisism.

Better a game about open wheelers than about GT3/4 at Spa. If people don't like it they can buy another game. Not even Polyphony or Turn 10 can please everyone on content.

Nothing has been taken away to bring this car. I'm also not a fan of Formula cars, but I don't see the release of another as something to complain about. Look on the bright side - there are now so many Formula cars that it is less likely we will get many more. Just keep driving whatever cars that are already in the game that persuaded you to buy it. Hopefully the next new car might be something you like and bring a smile to your big grumpy face.:)

The core of the complaints is not about "another Formula car", the addition of said object can be easily ignored, but rather about the lack of the addition of the cars that got teased in December. We do not complain about additional content, but about the lack of teased content from 4 months ago.

The appeal or no appeal of content is a personal thing. I can pretty well ignore content that is in, but I don't like. But I can hardly ignore content I want in, that is not in the game.

Let me get that straight in an example: If ACC would feature the NLS layout of Nürburgring, you would not see this post at all, because I would ingnore AMS2, just the same way I ignore public MP lobbies or the rating system.
