in 6 months to a year a lot of the new people will have moved on, and possibly never return

You have to imagine most people playing now have been here from the start whether being ams or ams 2. Reiza are in it for a long haul and I'm happy for that we will all look back at the end and think wow what a way they've come.

a lot of people here on the forum know that, but not everyone jumps on the forums to read whats going on, or are interested in how it was in the past, i think nowadays a lot of people dont have that patience, and to some extend thats perfectly understandable, especially when in a lot of peoples eyes strange choices are being made.

I got a 330.7MB update but the game is still listed as "Automobilista 2 [releasecandidate]". Is that correct or do I need to manually opt out of release candidate like last time?

@Renato Simioni What I love about Reiza and AMS is that its small, its niche, it has passion. It doesn't need that marketing reach, hiring youtubers and streamers and all that. It's about earning that respect of the customer along the way: F-Trucks, Stock Car, AMS 1, AMS 2, etc. Isn't that a normal approach of setting up a company? You start small and then see how it goes and where it peaks. Keep it up! AMS 2 is evolving in a good shape, and I am looking forward to any future projects. Maybe even Trainsimming, lol.

Both default and RC branches are now v1.3.7.1, you´ll remain on releasecandidate until you opt out but it´s the same build.

    Previousbuild now set to v1.3.6.2.

Renato could I ask a quick question as a person on a 1080p panel is there any development on the graphical side of the game specifically the AA?

    Wow... That does not disappoint.

Did not expect this level of change in feel, then again, I'm not on the Fanatec forums so what would I know to expect?
And I was blaming default+ too, to add insult to injury.
Waaaaaay smoother, not half as jolty, no weird "knocking" anymore with quick direction changes in chicanes, and default+ feels like a different animal altogether, and very informative altogether.
That's on a regular CSL DD.
Exact same settings across the board, a BIG improvement!

Are these updates usually this revolutionary? I've only been on a DD for a month or so.

Sometimes it can be. There was a Fanatec firmware update 1 year or so ago, that significantly increased small details on the CSW 2.5 here and i was also quite surprised that it could be so big of a change.

I think they also mentioned that most of the changes were to the Podium wheel bases and that those same improvements will eventually roll out to the CSL DD...so it sounds like there is even more to come in the near future!
